Sorry something isn’t right here, why would the club not say anything, now I agree they can’t comment on every story in the press, but to allow the fans to get this angry at Harry all over a pre arranged holiday is nonsense. It wouldn’t happen. Something is really wrong here. Sooooo confused!

Yeah that doesn’t make sense. The only answer would be the club wanting fans to get pissed off with Kane because they intend to sell him and don’t want to be made to look the bad guys. That thought had crossed my mind but I dismissed it because I thought it was the kind of anti Enic conspiracy nonsense people come out with. Plus, I really believe we want him to stay and Levy honestly doesn’t want him to go. Like you say, something is wrong.

It's clearly damage limitation.
Exactly. Spurs have always said they would deal with the matter internally, and so that gives them another chance to speak to Kane face-to-face and work towards the best solution to minimise embarrassment. If Spurs are firm that Kane is not being sold (in the clear knowledge that City won't stump up the asking price) then it's in Spurs interest to reintegrate Kane to the squad and help him manage the negative external publicity. If we're not cashing in on him then we need to help Kane get back to playing football without fans and media on his back.

Interesting how multiple ITKs from across the internet suddenly come out with similar briefs after a week of deafening silence from the club apart from them briefing journalists off the record that Kane will be fined for his mutiny.

Always wondered if the club had an ITK strategy the same way it has a media one.

Sounds like he might, “might”, be staying and now the PR is full swing to get him back in side with the fans

Lee McQueen on TLWOS said Kane had been offered a bonus to stay another year something like £10million and a contract amendment. So probably not an extension but a bonus payment to stay one more season and likely a buy out clause similar to grealish.

I’d rather we just sold him if his head has been turned. Puts us in a tricky position as we can’t spend big this summer as no guarantee someone will pay his buy out next summer, what if he gets injured etc.

If his head hadn’t been turned then of course I’d want him to stay and help us build back up to CL etc but Europeans clubs are in a dire financial state this summer so more pros than cons selling him now, maximising our value on him as he has 3years left not 2 like next summer and then give Paratici a warchest to virtually finish the re-build this summer

What’s the recent PR? Nuno saying he’s available for City as if so I think that he said the players who are training are available so there is nuance there.

Bluemoon currently arguing over a fair price for Kane and that £160m isn't fair because although he might finish as the PL record goalscorer he won't be the best per mins.

It could also be that Kane is seeing a difference in the way things are done with the Don in charge of transfers. Just think of how many of us have criticised Levy with his "moving the goal posts" and trying to pay much less than what a club thinks their player is worth. If it is true, we could have had Greelish for 25million....and a host of other players where we had the "we tried but..." Maybe Harry did want out and there could have been promises made in regards to squad improvement that never happened which has let to Kane feeling that he will never win anything here. Now things are different, things are happening and we're actually signing players that have the potential to get us winning something. Kane always seemed like a Spurs man through and through and as much as we take the piss out of his brother (which if I remember correctly, only started representing Kane after his last contract) I feel Kane signed that contract with his hear and not his head (well he actually used his hand but...).
I think we should give him a good reception and get to his heart again as I still believe deep down he's a Spurs man.

If Man City comes in with the right bid, sell the bastard!!

Much prefer to keep him if we can as long as Paratici is still able to add another proper centre forward and hopefully fill positions needed - right back, another centre back and attacking right midfielder.

So the club had agreed with Kane to come back saturday, some report now says. Then Nuno has a an interview today and when asked if he was disappointed he could not speak with Kane earlier, he said it is not about that, it is about what we have to do to solve the situation.. So clearly there is a situation!

Well, whatever has gone on with Kane, i think we are all familiar with players seemingly becoming available only for them to sign new and improved contracts.

Once bitten, twice shy, but i have to say that @Romario optimisim is rubbing off on me.

Time will tell ??????
