I’d made my peace with him going and using the money to rebuild. Actually think it was a good time to sell on balance but certainly won’t complain if he hits similar numbers to last session. City really messed him about by not following through. Not helped by having an amateur brother agent.

I have to say I find the "this summer" line a bit disrespectful. It's clearly a 'fuck you' to Levy for not giving in to City, and ultimately it's a 'fuck you' to the fans as well, as his actions this summer have caused us all grief.

If he had come out with a trite, remorseful post, acknowledging that he'd been badly advised, i'd be willing to draw a line under everything and move on, but this statement still shows that he thinks he's better than us. He can get fucked.
Support the badge- you don't have to support the players when they disrespect us all the way he has been doing.
I'm suprised by what has happened and how far he has fallen in many supporters eyes- the guys at Wolves on Sunday really did a great job supporting one of our players when the opposing fans started to make digs.
It'll be like this for the coming months- I hope he does turn it around - we'll see

I expect for Harry, it's not over. Too late in this window now.

It certainly is not a guarantee of what will happen from January 1st onwards. I expect he'll still want to leave, unless we're clearly onto something, but I can't see anything changing (he'll be older, so suiters will be fewer)

‘This summer’ is such a weird thing to say. It’s obviously been discussed a million times with his new PR company about how to word it and they still chose ‘this summer’ instead of ‘this season’. It may be nothing but i hope it doesn’t all start again in December. Can’t see him leaving January though, but if we’re mid table and generally being average, then it certainly won’t stop Sky and the likes going on about it again.

Neville et al will massively pick up on the summer bit and yap on about it until our ears bleed.

I’m happy but also worried that the squad will not get the surgery it needs to get in there for top 4. Hmmmmmmmm.

I would not be surprised if we would try again for either Vlahovic or Martinez (in future TWs) if they do not extend their current deals. Both Fiorentina and Inter are likely taking a huge gamble by pricing their respective player out of a move this window.

I’m ambivalent to it. Either way we aren’t weaker. But I’ve lost the overwhelming joy I had seeing him wear our shirt and be “one of our own” as he simply isn’t anymore.

I have been saying all summer that this is bigger than THFC.

Make no mistake, this is a victory for football over money and sports washing. It really is. We just need other clubs to follow our lead now and refuse to let their best players join Man City. I can guarantee the rest of the PL is delighted we didn't sell him to them.

I'm glad something was put out one way or another before the deadline next week so at least that's that.

If he can remain focused and committed I am delighted. Won't be as attached to him as I was previously, but still a world class striker for another year.

Oh and City and the media not getting what they wanted? You love to see it.

Absolutely, I'll still be supporting the team, which I'm sure will often have Kane in it now he's back onboard. But I won't be singing 'One of our own' to him anymore, and I won't be sad to see him leave. I don't want players at the club who don't want to be here, and Kane is clearly in that camp.

Yup, it pretty much means we have this whole mess again in January.

Okay Harry, you now have to go score 46 goals this season to overtake Greavsie, then you can go.

Yea the this summer bit was unsssercary given that he put that it makes me wish we’d managed to sell him as clearly he has his eyes still on city oh well nothing we can do.

if we can get a creative CM and either Traore or a back up striker then we look strong this season

Ok well it's great he is staying but I've lost a lot of respect for him. Having said that if he scored 30+ goals this season and finally delivers us silverware I'll be first in line to lick his face.
