Well, it's deffo a new era now for sure. Sonny will carry the torch for a few more years (I hope) but new horizons and all that.

All feels a bit mid 00s to me where we're good but against the top teams I have little hope, but I shall try and stay optimistic. My brain says a good system with the units working together can overcome the loss of a worldy but my shrivelled, blackened heart is weary.
Was just thinking it was definitely a summer 2003 feel. (But i think Ange will go straight to Jol stage rather than be a Santini)

Yeah, all things considered, beyond him retiring here or moving to Orient or the MLS in his late 30s this is about as good a departure as we were ever likely to get from Kane given how much we fucked the last 5 years.

Big fee to a foreign club after scoring a bagful on his final appearance for Spurs on a sunny afternoon at the stadium.
I still think he will come back in a couple of years and have a final pop at Shearer's record (with us or someone else)

My guess is he'll stay at Munich for 3 years (maybe 4 if he signs a 5 year contract and Bayern don't want to sell him) then come back to the PL and have a go at it.

If he does play for another PL club aged 33/34 it will be miserable but think it will be massively less painful than him signing a 5 year contract at United or whoever next summer.

Ange in today's presser saying that the plan was always to bring a number of players in to spread the goals across the team knowing that Kane was likely going to leave.

If that is the case we've got Maddison, Solomon and Veliz in so far, certainly not enough to cover Kane's goal contributions so sounds very likely there will be another 1-2 in to help with this.

I think he'll get homesick and push to come back next year and everyone's worst nightmares will come true.

Son, Richarlison and Deki is pretty good.
Very much need Deki to return to the form he showed that first season he joined in January if we are to spread the Kane goals out.

I do think though we will be scoring lot more from midfield this year, but we should be looking at a 20 goal striker or top rwf with that Kane money and whoever is first choice CB.
