No I’m not sure. I just think we can beat them but even if we do/don’t I’m not too fussed about the league cup- partly because City will be very hard and because it’s just the league cup.

For me I’m happy to remain in the CL next year and do as well as we can in it this year. Winning a domestic cup would be great and is made more difficult without Kane but honestly the main benefit to winning it would to stop wankers in the media going on about us not winning a trophy.

Surely the main benefit to winning the trophy would be for the progression of the club.

You can bet your house that if Chelsea turn us over in the semi, no-one in the media will give a flying fig about our huge catalogue of injuries. It'll just be another instance they can brainlessly cite of us being "legends". That's why I'm desperate to make it through, regardless of what happens against City.

Yeah and they’ll also say we should have strengthened the squad last summer.

And they’ll be right. This risk was always there and we gambled.

To heck with the Cup "no one caraboats" & the FA cup, who cares if the media call Spurs 'legends" - at the end of the day its all about top 4 in the EPL & progression in the Champion's League. All other competitions & Trophies are just window dressing.

I get Harry's concern, and obviously he knows his body better than anyone. However, there hasn't been a scan yet so anything until that is just a guess.

Had one myself this morning, no idea how it will turn out. Obviously he'll know his before I know mine though. I'll wait until anything official before jumping to conclusions.

First Son, then Kane and now easley91?!?

Fuck me is our luck ever bad!

If that's the case, it could have been much worse.

Erring on the side of caution I would imagine. Wouldn't be at all surprised if it was longer.

Surely we have to buy a striker now? Otherwise this season is going to dribble away.

If Son wasn't going we'd probably be OK. Assume we have no ability to block him/recall him?
