Was that because he'd promised local fans that HK would be in the starting XI, and needed to explain things? Wouldn't be the first time that sort of promo trick has been used in the world of football.According to the Chairman of Kitchee, Kane was not feeling well when he arrived at Hong Kong. Kind of unacclimatized and was in the hospital because of dehydration. But he still played 15 mins and scored a goal.
he should pull out of the fucking internationals and have a full summer off. he hasn't had one for 3 years ffs
Benzema is quality and certainly not overrated.
In previous seasons he's been a very consistent goal scorer but the team is geared around Ronaldo scoring most of the goals and getting the glory.
Plus I think this season Benzema may have had a few injuries, certainly in summer as Morata was being used.
Plus Benzema has had this dodgy blackmail stuff hanging over him (which makes him seem to be a very dodgy character lol).
Interesting to see if he ever gets back into French squad, although their squad is a bit weird as Lacazette doesn't seem to get a look in and would think he was their best centre forward nowdays?

Apropos of nothing very much, I remember standing next to a bloke on an airport transfer bus in HK 20 years or so ago, and thought he looked a bit like Malcolm Alison. Goofily, when he realised I was kind of staring a bit, I said "you look a bit like Malcolm Alison". He replied "that's because I am Malcolm Alison", and his whole cheeky, likable personality shone through. It turned out he was giving a talk at the HKFC that evening, or maybe the next day - to which I went. Great man, captivating speaker. Anyway, back to the present....Don't know. But Kane did not go to the nightclub before and after the match like most of the team mates, according to local paper.

Im guessing 7 goals in 2 games wasn't enough then.@EASPORTSFIFA

Mourinho ruined Benzema, not CR7.
He played the same way for France during that period, his natural goals instincts have gone.

Nooooooo don't call him CR7 that's what them weird fanboys do who frequent the internet and spend their days arguing that he's better than Messi!
Messi tho
Messi tho
Probably the same amount that he scored against Leicester or Hull...Put Kane in the Barca team and see how many he gets playing the likes of Granada.

Look at Messi's chances created as well, he's in a league of his own.
I disagree. Stats for the top strikers in Spain are massively skewed. No way they'd consistently score as much in the PL.Yeah put Messi in this Tottenham side he's score and create a similar amount.
People said the same about Zlatan last summer, and he did alright before his injury...I disagree. Stats for the top strikers in Spain are massively skewed. No way they'd consistently score as much in the PL.
12 less than Kane who missed a similar number of games?People said the same about Zlatan last summer, and he did alright before his injury...
