Ornstein spouts nonsense at no point has Kane said he wants to leave

he wants trophies though And his camp will make clear in the summer that when discussions begin on a new deal the club need to match his ambition with proven signings

Kane also likes Jose so that’s another reason why Jose may keep his job As long as he delivers European football

Just a quick question for everyone... If you were in Harry's shoes what would you do?

1. Stay for the rest of your career and potentially win a few domestic cups but be the club's and premier league's all-time leading goalscorer? As I'm pretty certain he'll break both records. He would then be the greatest player in our history.

2. Leave and go to City for example and win multiple trophies but not be considered such a legend? He would still be the greatest goal scorer in the premier league though.

I guess it just will come down to what his main motivations are - as it's not a very easy decision to make imo.
I'd go into these contract discussions with the aim of getting myself £300k p/w for the next 5-6 years then get after those records.

That's just me though.

Nobody should read the sun, nor the mail or frankly any of the murdoch empire tabloids, it's partly why the planet is such a shit state of affairs, nuke them from orbit it's the only way to be sure.

He’s so hated by everyone. It’s utterly bizarre. We are just finding out what it’s like to have England’s best player playing for us since we had Gazza. Rooney, Beckham they both had to go through it to different degrees regarding different things. It’s Kane’s turn now. Build them up, knock them down. It’s what they do but it’s worse now because of social media.

My main motivation would be playing for the club I love, but everyone's motivations are different, only Harry knows what he wants to do.

Yh that's my main motivation but you have played for the club you love for many years AND you are a genuine world class player part of you would want to make use of your talent and win a league or two

I don’t think he’s hated by anyone? This whole “Kane endangers defenders” thing is just something Arsenal/Liverpool etc fans latch on to because he’s completely inoffensive and they’re desperate for a reason to dislike him, but no one I know hates him or doesn’t think he’s a great player.

Obviously you get the odd moron on social media poking fun at the way he speaks but they have a lower IQ combined than he’s scored goals this season - ignore them.

Any time a good player plays for a non-“elite” (i.e. mega rich) club the media love stirring up rumours and trying to get that player sold - it’s not just Kane, but I agree it’s exacerbated because he’s the best English player in a generation. That aside, I’d say the media and pundits in this country generally like him as a person and even more so as a player.

So want to win stuff with him in the team, would be such a wasted opportunity if we didn’t.

Obviously I hope Harry stays, breaks Shearer's record and wins a few trophies with us, hopefully starting with the CC this year.

Levy needs to give him the tools to succeed however, so I hope if there are indeed talks about his future (contract or transfer) he stresses that point. They need to find a way to match Kane's ambitions, it's not every day you get a world class striker through your academy.

If Levy sells Kane in his prime without any tangible success then IMHO it would reflect incredibly poorly on him. Personally I think he hasn't done enough to capitalise on it (yet). Hopefully knowing the stakes will mean Levy/Lewis do what is needed to keep him. He is vital to the club and us fans.

People talk a lot about Kane needing to leave to win trophies but in my opinion he's more focused on individual accolades.

Give him the choice of a league title or becoming the all time leading scorer in Premier League history and he'll choose the latter every time. That makes a move abroad very unlikely for me.

Do people talk about Shearer's one league championship or do they talk about him being the all time top scorer?

He's also got his eye on the top club scorer record, I don't think he leaves us until he gets that at the very earliest.

Once he's broken the club record maybe he'll consider a move to City where he could probably break Shearer's record even quicker and win some silverware at the same time, but they probably need to sort their situation out this summer and Haaland seems likely for them.

Once that position gets filled his only remaining Premier League option would be United, and they only look marginally more likely to win trophies than us at this stage.

He did a Q&A with Jamie Redknapp on Instagram last year, he chose PL title.

He won't move abroad, but he might move to City. Its the only place I could see him going to. He'd score 40+ league goals a season in their current team.

Doubt they could afford him, or even want to attempt to negotiate with Levy for his star player.

Also, if they could afford Kane, I still think they'd more likely pursue one of Neymar or Mbappe'.
That's where Bale comes into the equation from a Real point of view they might see it as leverage seeing were suppose to have this special arrangement nonsense.
