Imo Harry wants to leave because he knows, like the rest of us, that Levy is the weak link. Tottenham wont win trophies whilst Levy is calling the shots.

All the anger directed at Harry should be directed at Levy.
The anger should be directed at both. Fuck Levy & fuck Kane too.

Harry Kane had multiple opportunities to win trophies here with Levy in charge.

Well I think everyone is getting too carried away and over excited . First thing a new manager will want will be cash to build a team .
He'll have it .
Players come and go , Ronaldo left Utd ,Torres left Liverpool . Glenn just said he wanted new challenges /stimulation and he got them.

Its entirely possible that new management will have us up and running next season , all this 'Oh no we can't ever get anything together because we are spurs' is so silly and over emotional .

A decent shuffle of the deck could bring all sorts of unexpected possibilities , so my advice is to simply calm down and wait for what arrives next season . Basic requirement is energy . As long as we get a Prem experienced manager who will know that this is the priority
then we could be ok imo .

If the media is to be believed, he first told the club he would be interested in a move away last year. He wasn’t even prepared to give Mourinho a chance. He essentially wanted out at the very first sign of trouble at this club.

This is what irks me most. You have people coming in here saying it’s understandable etc. But he’s off as soon as the going has got tough.

If he had stuck around for 1 more season with a heavy investment and it hadn’t worked out, then fine.

Now I just hope that once he goes, he goes, I certainly don’t want him back just so he can fulfill some ego trip to become our record scorer in the twilight of his career.

Anyone know who posted the Harry winks and Harry Kane not liking each other ITK or anyone know where I might find it?

The worst thing is that the club will have seen this coming, you can argue about investment and intent but the club must have seen us making consistent errors be it managerial or transfers sales or incomings, this hasn’t been rectified over time and the end result is that our superstar wants to go win things

What was it Harry Kane found so attractive about our unambitious club that he was prepared to sign a six year £60m contract? It’s a puzzle.

He’s gone missing in three finals and a couple of semi-finals but he hasn’t given any of the money back as far as I know. Let’s not get into discussions about loyalty, eh?

It’s the sceptic in me that says we will be no wiser or further on in 2 weeks.
Two weeks is actually pretty critical.

Once we get past two weeks Kane loses his Webster rule leverage, and the club can then stick to enforcing his contract.

I think this is all a big game of chicken between Kane and Levy, with Levy not believing Kane would opt to terminate his contract.

Kane wants a resolution by the Euros - and I think he will force the issue if he has to.

Remember when Bale mouthed off to the media mid season and put in 4/10 performances on the way out? Me neither

Why should he stick around he has been with us 6/7 years and has achieved nothing the club have no so many opportunities and failed.
He wants to win things which is unachievable at spurs, I do wish him well and if it is city he will have a couple of titles before he retires.

As I'm in a proper anti Levy mood I'm going to say that those trophy chances were down to Pochettino wildly over achieving.

We have had some of the best players and managers in the world unable to deliver trophies under Levy, they all move on and yet one man remains.

The meltdown from other clubs and the media will be funny if he does go to City though. They’ll say how it’s unfair that City are buying the league etc etc. So at least that’s one positive.

What amazes me is that they have all fallen for the lie that it isnt already like that.

The same clubs, every year, across Europe, win the trophies.

The same clubs then go out and strip clubs of any talent that could potentially lift other clubs to challenge them. I find it amazing how Bayern just pick out the top players of direct rivals every year and nobody in Germany seems to care. Completely devalues competitions.

Differences in mentality, that's why Bale scored goals in many CL finals. Kane is more of a Pippen than Jordan mentality-wise, wants to get carried by De Bruyne and others. Bale didn't even respect his idol Ronaldo and did his own thing. Kane is still a better player overall though and impossible to replace.

...and you know that Levy will get cheap with the transfer funds for the new manager.

It'll be the Kane fee and that's it.

The chunk of change for a rebuild for a new manager will disappear.

As will the fees for selling the deadwood.

Oh well...
