I'd take 100m and Laporte tbh. Jesus isn't really a player I'd like, but he's not terrible.

Sterling on the other hand has no upside. High wages, not the type of player we need and imo not all that good.

Wow that's a small amount of cash.

Don't worry, at least he will bang in a hat-trick against Shitty in the opening fixture of the season to stimulate them into forking out finally the £175 million DL will be asking for him.

If he is to go to another club in England, let it be Man City. As long as Pep is on board, they are all but guaranteed to finish 1 or 2.....with or without Kane.

United is still a bit of a fragile bunch with Ole. Chelsea look to be building strong and have the right manager in charge but still dealing with inconsistency. Both are still direct competition and adding Kane would elevate both well beyond us. City are just on another planet at the moment.

Kane still has a considerably long contract to go. Unless he wants to undo his legendary status here, he's going nowhere if his price is not met - is that straightforward. Selling to domestic rivals inadvertently is adding another 50 million to the price as well. So City is really having a laugh to think a 100 million can make the deal. There is really no way we should not be talking about 180 million onwards - this is City we are talking about. Covid or no covid, it doesn't matter. Fuck them.

Never going to happen but id only accept 100m if it included silva, laporte and jesus.

Then go invest in a quality RB (aarons) striker (ings), CM and another cb.

Saying that, players are not much use without a manager that knows how to make it all work.

Why would Laporte agree to join us? He would surely have offers from CL teams. Strange that everyone some people automatically assume it's an option without taking this into account. He's the only one I'd take in a swap and I don't think he'd come so cash or he's staying.

As most have said it won't happen I disagree that "everyone automatically assumes it's an option."

I very much doubt we are going to be doing much next season, with or without Kane. It will just be a different degree of mediocrity. He might make the difference between a Europa League place and not - but who really cares. I'd let him go now for 130 million+Laporte (if he is happy to come) or 160 million cash.

We are better cashing in now when his sale is going to have little impact upon the upcoming season as appose to in a years time when we will get half of what we could get now.

From a paper today-
Tottenham have been telling potential candidates to succeed Jose Mourinho as head coach that the club have no intention of selling Kane this summer.
That's it then - he's gone!
The club haven't told the truth all summer to prospective managers!!
