When we starts to string all these events together, it's all beginning to look like one rude awakening for all of us isn't it. People we used to blame, laugh at, swore at, suddenly weren't that bad afterall. Then looking at now Lamela and Toby have left, Verts and Vorm, Dembele, Eriksen, all those who put in proper shift were not with us anymore...And the much-maligned Serge Aurier showed up for a game two days after his brother was murdered. Yet 'Mr Tottenham' would rather sulk at home than do his job.
It's just sickening, and pure sadness, that it has to be our Harry Kane waking us up to such realisation. The worse thing is one of the best period of the club's history will forever have him involved. It will be quite a torture.
It hurts.
And yet, he has that heart to do that...
