If Laporte and Jesus are so good, how come they are behind Ake and Nobody at City?
And if Vlahovic is such a certainty, why aren’t City buying him?
Wake up everyone, we need to keep Kane even if we have to handcuff him to a radiator at the Lodge!

I think Ake is in front of Laporte because he has stated he wants to leave so obviously Pep is preparing for life without him.

Jesus you are spot on. Its telling when you are a number 9 and majority say City dont have a number 9.

Clubs like City rarely gamble on a Vlahovic. No doubt they will wait for his secondary move to a bigger club, see how he gets on and then the elite clubs come in.

Lol Windy calling out someone for being a whiney is the most Pot/kettle thing I've seen for ages.

Say what you like about Windy, but his last paragraph totally nailed it...

Everything Kane is doing now is an attempt to force Spurs to lower their asking price; he’s out there wrecking his reputation to save the richest club on the planet a few quid at the expense of our club. By creating toxicity to the point where the club just wants rid of him, he thinks he can force Levy’s hand. We — the fans, his fans — are being punished when, ultimately, there is only one party in this deal who can decide if the transfer happens: when City make a fair offer, the deal gets done.

Again, zero excuses for him not to play tomorrow. Something is going on....

Maybe Nuno didn't want him near the squad. It's a possibility. Maybe Nuno thinks he's a desrupting influence.

I doubt we'll see him again until the transfer window ends..

I am not sure that Eriksen did damage Levy's reputation. He just chose to reject numerous new contracts, turning down millions in wages in order to keep control. It was very smart. I don't know of any other player who has done this in such a strategic way and there was nothing Levy or the club could do. In the end, I think Levy got a ridiculously high fee from Inter for what was basically 6 months left of a contract.

I meant to write "position" specifically to avoid using reputation. No idea why I typed that. I meant in the battle to control the narrative and leverage (whether that's the perception of competitive activity or getting a move). Kane doing what Eriksen did would be far more effective in painting Levy as unreasonable and unambitious.

Haven't, and won't read it mate. I liked Windy when he was a forum poster who was about the youth set ups. Then came his website and podcast and he needed clicks so turned into a whinging, miserable anti Levy rant machine. It's all headlines that don't match the content and are rarely backed up with anything other than vitriol.

Exactly- he’s a gamble, but everyone on here has decided he’s better than Kane already!

Not sure if anyone's posted it yet, but some very tenuous claims of info on BM:

Tried to make it make sense, as it was a conversation between two posters

Yeah, that's not it. Kane is better BUT what I think people are doing is seeing that Kane doesn't want to play for us so trying to think of how best to move forward if/when he does leave. And Vhlaovic they see as a good replacement who, whilst is a gamble, if it plays off can work out really well for us and the club in the future

In wrestling this is what would be known as the double turn. Good guy Harry Kane is now the villain, and evil Daniel Levy is now the hero. Fair play to the Kanes for rebuilding Levy's stance with the fans. So good I have to applaud it.

Your staying and that's the bottom line cos Stone Cold Levy said so.

Makes me wonder how much Mourinno inflated his ego whilst he was in charge as well.

Always remember Mourinto rudely interrupting Son being given man of match and he saying Harry Kane man of match - thought is was a shitty thing to at time (some on here didn’t agree with me when I posted it) and only added to the thing that Kane thought he was better than the other players

Right, get them to table, try to bump it up to £160m if we can, then take it and run. Outbid Atletico and get Vlahovic in ASAP then spend the last week of the window getting a top CB, creative mid, and RB.
