I still dislike him for the way he's gone about it. Absolute wank professionalism from him and his camp.

His goals will massively help us. But without completely contradicting myself, he can't be the player who we never sub if it ain't working. Despite what he thinks, the team comes first and I really hope that means if he's playing shit or the system isn't working, he gets subbed if it's the right option, like every other player would.

Maybe don't change your messaging.

If he wasn't fit, would he have played on Sunday? You said originally to bench him for matches to teach him a lesson.

I know who is bitter he is staying.

I'm not changing my messaging, it serves both purposes. He gets to see he isn't untouchable and just comes straight back into the starting 11, whilst working towards match fitness.

It's kind of irrelevant anyway to be honest with the ridiculous international matches coming up. We'll see if he starts for England he's obviously match fit, if not we know he needs work.

The important thing now is not to think “ok so next summer we may have issues” but to try an fix the issues now. Scouting, searching, doing all we can to find the person who will be replacing him if he goes next summer. We often wait to long and we can’t afford to do that here.

My concern is we have not done enough (to date) in the transfer window to have a better season than last year and get Kane to want to stay longer than he is forced to.
We have improved our defence with Romero.

Also Skipp and Tanganga have shown improvement.

Possibly a better back up keeper also.

Then, I would say Nuno already looks to have the team more focused than Jose.

It is early, but some possible improvements with a week to go.

You see what happens if you have a proper PR and Agent Harry, time to let Charlie go back to playing with his Lego in his bedroom.
Look Charlie's had a pretty torrid time of it recently. Why would you then further tax his tiny little mind with something as complex as Lego? The poor lamb.

Also: Fuck you, City! Swallow the salt!

Surely that is up to the manager, and I trust Nuno to do the right thing

I think this is key for me. This was always likely to be a transitional season, but i'm a lot more confident that Nuno will get the chance to sort out our teething problems - and identify what we will need in the future - with Kane being the relentless goal-scoring Terminator he is and providing covering fire.

i'm over the (not blue) moon we stood up to them oil wankers and Levy should still report them for tapping him up

i wont be changing my vote after the way he acted. i am willing to be bought when he piles in a hat trick against the arsenal to relegate them

I'll support him the way I support any Spurs player but I'll never forget the way he went about this summer and his legacy won't be the same. Hopefully he's back and scoring goals ASAP because he already owes us two games due to this farce.

Well that's pretty funny stuff. Not sure it's the best outcome for us as a team, I think we'll be putting up with speculation about him forever more until he leaves but hopefully he'll be professional and score a bucket load in the meantime.

I'll never view him the same and I certainly wouldn't be singing 'he's one of our own to him' but I'll applaud every goal he contributes in our colours same as every other player.
The media were having him (and Poch) at United for years. So it doesn't make a difference to me what they say. There was speculation all summer, yet he is staying. I think this should prove that the media bar a very select few should be listened to.

I wanted to roll over to bluemoon to see the shitshow unfold. This is from early this morning and I think it absolutely sums up the intelligence and psyche of their supporters
