Whilst that's true. Kane doesn't have a choice unless we agree a fee with bayern.
Of course he has choice he can go no thanks to the move/any move, his right. and see out less than a year. Do you really believe that it’s some kind of disaster for him personally to play out a year at Spurs? I doubt he minds that with then the pick of any of the mountain of offers and monster signing on bonus he would get as a free agent and one of the worlds best strikers.

He literally has no bad options. He can just sit tight and say nothing. Which is exactly what he is doing.

He's testing new Nike boots.

Nope.

What people might not have noticed is that Kane has been wearing all black boots during Spurs' tour rather than his usual brighter Nike ones. football.london understands that the England captain's deal with Nike has come to an end and he is now wearing his new pair, with blacked out logos, before a mega boot deal with a new company is announced in the near future.

So he will join adidas who have a stake in Bayern

it’s quite an easy scenario - pay the money or fuck off.

I don’t really know what Bayern think they’re doing here. They know we’ll keep him even without a new contract. So it’s literally shit or get off the pot.

And at this point I’m starting to not be bothered either way.

Not this summer though. He can't move, unless we agree to it. I feel like I am repeating myself.

He can also turn this move down, if he choses.

Bit of a reach to suggest that he's chosen a boot deal for a move to a club that he has no control over
Massive reach. Bayerns poster boy Musiala wears Nike...

Kane may have an interest but it’s completely naive to think a striker of his standing hasn’t been made aware of other opportunities. It equally naive to think Bayern are the only club interested both now and in a years time. Kane may not be broadcasting his options publicly but he is bound to be aware of them.
We all know his options whether publicly or privately stated. He basically has his pick of top clubs both home and abroad. The power is in his hands and he will decide where he wants to play next, in fact he has probably already decided. The only question is how long it will take to get to the point of clarity in terms of what happens this summer. The longer this pantomime drags on the worse for the club as it compromises the building and preparation the new manager is trying to do for next season.

Yeah I don't get what they're at either.

Bit bizarre really, it's pretty clear what's needed.

Not such an easy scenario as you put it. They can 'pay the money' and Kane can still say no thanks.

I've been thinking for a while that all three possibilities have their plus sides.
  • If we sell him for £80-120m then we have money to buy players now who Ange wants and who want to be here.
  • If he stays and leaves next year we probably get 20-30 goals which will just maybe help us win a cup or get top 4.
  • If he stays and signs a new deal - brilliant.
The obvious negative to the second option is that we don't get the money to make up for his loss but that wouldn't be existential and the advantages give us ways we can move forward.

There, everything is focused on Heung-min Son (31), who would be the club's new poster boy if his teammate left. Coincidence? Or a glimpse into the future?
Or maybe like Korea , the number one Asian player in the world is front and centre in Asia lol

The boots he trained in were definitely blacked out, but i’m pretty sure they are Nike and not Adidas. The high res pics on Getty show the same Nike hypervenom soleplate he was wearing last season. Maybe his deal has expired but they could also be prototypes, which would also explain them being blacked out.

That’s why is still can’t figure out why we didn’t just set a price and a deadline. It’s 100M before add ons by July 25th or we’re happy to keep him.

Just makes the whole media conversation / distraction moot.

they either pay it or not and we all move on with our lives. More importantly, Ange can finish building his squad knowing exactly what the picture is.

I feel like i’m repeating myself I am aware he can’t this year. It’s hardly a big deal to him it is less than a year for TOTAL control of his football career and an absolutely huge amount of money. Bayern wage wise are not going to be able to get anywhere near the amount of wages and signing on bonus he would get as a free agent in less than 12 months. They can’t even get close to the fee at the moment let alone that.

It’s no wonder Kane is keeping quiet he probably has a ton of options to think about.

I said this earlier. If I was in his position, I'd wait a year.

I think bayern know they'll be down the pecking order next summer, so they are trying desperately to destabilise and get him in on a deal.
