Here is why I won't mind if he goes to Bayern - out of sight, out of mind.

I keep a cursory eye on Bundesliga, but I won't be following him or Bayern, and may not even really notice him there unless Bayern make a deep run in CL.

If he stays in PL - it will be all Kane, all the time - it will be in my face for the rest of Kane's career

This is true. Him going to Bayern is so meaningless its almost as if he retired. They'll be no feeling of Betrayal no looking at what he's won since leaving.

But they've been so obnoxious and small time about the whole thing, I don't like the idea of them thinking they've won something when in fact they are being used and hopefully fleeced.

I find it strange there are not more clubs clamouring for Kane, if he has made it clear he wants out and THFC do not want him leaving on a free then his agent(s) will have briefed other clubs (agents). Also two years ago Man City did not (apparently) put in a serous bid but they did buy Grealish.
As a top striker I would have thought there would have been a mass of clubs wanting him, perhaps his agent(s) have made it clear to everyone he is seeing out his contract at Spurs.

Vlahovic, Gonçalo Ramos or Lautaro would be the ideals for me especially in this new system. Probably not particularly realistic tho.

Personally it would be Vlahovic of Ferguson for me.
Ferguson because we have a manager who would develop a young player and he has all the raw ingredients to be the next big PL striker. Bigger risk of course but that's what we should be doing

Age will have an impact if we’re asking for £100m +

City have Haaland, Real want Mbappe, Barcelona are skint and generally don’t play with a main target man.

I doubt these leaks are coming from Charlie or whoever. Kane's camp doesn't need to force anything now. The club have much more to lose than Harry in this situation. He can afford to see this season out and move to his choice of club at the end - with the additional incentive of a bonanza signing-on fee. Probably his situation will be even better by waiting.

On the other hand, the club stand to forfeit around one hundred million by retaining his services for the season. Whatever way you dress it up, the club will either gain one hundred million now or nothing next summer. It's a gamble. And it's not like having Harry guarantees we will have a good, let alone exceptional, season. We've never won anything during his time here and have only qualified for the Champions League once since Pochettino left. Taking sentimentality out of the equation, what would we need to achieve next season to justify writing off one hundred million?

Really starring to feel like the writing is on the wall here. I don't think it will neccessarily be the end of the world if he does go, i don't think he suits a high intensity game and hopefully the new style of play should see goals spread throughout the team a bit more anyway. The biggest concern is that this looks like it will drag on for a while, and it's clearly holding up the rest of our business. I don't see us buying anyone else until we know how much money we have. We will also struggle to get an adequate replacement if we leave it to the last minute. So basically Ange is prepping for the season with no idea what his defence and attack will look like. Poor guy doesn't stand a chance!

The number of clubs who could afford the deal must be limited. It's not just the transfer fee but Kane's salary too. Despite the noise, Man U may not be able to fund the deal right now. Man City already have Haaland, so Kane may not be a priority this summer. Who does that leave? Real? Do they have the funds after spending big on Bellingham? PSG? But will Kane want to go there?

Just had a read of the BBC sports page, it’s Kane mania over there, lists all of his options why he should go to each one blah blah, that wasn’t put together this morning, they have been waiting for a sign that a move is now a distinct possibility.

What ENIC should have already done is brought in at least one quality CB, to give us at least an outside chance of CL- future revenues which would meet 30-50% of a Toney or David. The rest can be funded by the master businessman’s commercial acumen- including rip off ticket prices and maybe even naming rights and fkin go-karts

I was suggesting that there will still need to be some replacement next season when he walks on a free - so we can hang on now and get a season more - but be in this position next summer but have no transfer fee.

Kane being sold this summer is exactly what Kane wants (understandable) and exactly what BM want. This weakens our position with all potential buyers.
Don't believe for one second its Joe trying to deflect the blame from Levy to appease the fans...neither of them give the slightest shit what we think.
It doesn't make sense that the club have put this out.

Us attracting a good striker is a different story if they aren't competing with Kane. I think many would jump at the chance given our profile, location, facilities, squad etc.

I'm not sure that he would even want to go to United. I think we can all agree that his aim is to win trophies. Within Europe's big 5 leagues, the only clubs where that is currently close to guaranteed are Bayern, PSG and Man City. Everywhere else is a risk.

The only thing with Utd is that he will definitely break the premier league record if he goes there and that is not guaranteed at all if he leaves England. I agree though that Utd are quite far off genuinely challenging for the league, but they always manage to win a trophy fairly regularly - FA cups, League cups, etc.

Why is being sold this summer "exactly" what Kane wants? For all we know, he's 50/50 on it. It's not like it's now or never for him- he will probably have better offers at the end of the season than he does now.

To me, it's plausible the club are putting pressure on him to sign a new contract or leave. Because, unlike Kane, for the club, it really is now or never.

Probably Kane has told the club he is not signing a new contract, and someone has got wind of that. It doesn't have to be the orchestrated leak some are making it out to be.

If he were a realistic option then definitely agree. No idea if Juventus would be open to selling him or if they currently have the financial troubles to make an offer from us for him seem to good to turn down
