And do you know what constitutes this revised offer?

Point is there's more variables involved here - not least the currency conversion - that gives cause to consideration.

No one does, it just says over €100 million euros. People saying that's enough don't know also. The reports are they were below our asking price and someone said it's not much if any different to their last offer. So putting 2 and 2 together it's not enough.

I think the bare minimum Levy would accept would be £90m and may even be £90m plus £10m in add ons.

There probably still isn’t even a figure and if there is he’ll up out at the last minute like usual. What was it someone once said, “when you agree a fee with Daniel, then that’s the start of the negations”?

He’ll make them work for it for sure.

even if they offer what baldy wants, which I doubt. What do you think are the chances of him moving the goalposts are?

Thank fuck this is coming to a head, by end of weekend we may actually know one way or another whether this is happening or not and then can move on. Course I want him to stay but everyone at the club needs this resolved now whichever way that is.

The 'over' is the pertinent bit that people conveniently are ignoring.

But yes, in essence you are correct that either way we are all second guessing whether this will be the breakthrough offer or not - i'm just merely piecing together the evidence on this week and from resident ITK's that if there was no realistic expectation of a common ground being sought between us and Bayern then that would have been expressed through the various channels by now.

At this point I think Daniel should just refuse to sanction the sale. Keep Kane for another year and let him go for free next year.

We don't need the money. We need the player.

He's said he's happy to stay if a deal with Bayern can't be done.

Fuck Bayern off.

Wording of "expect an answer" rather than "met the asking price" says to me that they haven't met what we're asking for

Not ignoring it, just aware that over 100 is what people usually use to describe 101 in these sorts of things 😁

He hopefully is keeping Kane in the loop of it all.

We told them we need X amount for you and we will accept. But they are only offering Y as we value you that much to us.

One way to show Kane you were willing to sell but they weren't serious enough to buy.

Kinda relieved ngl.

If reports were they put down £100m + add-ons or something like that, I think we'd be getting the 'here we go' soon enough. But if it's £75m ish up-front plus minor add-ons, there's a good chance Kane stays.

Bayern aren't striking me as the sort of club to burst in with a huge increase either. Minor increases here and there with a deadline for tonight, and Kane stays IMO.
