I might be being very naive here, but i genuinely think his feelings for the club/fans have pushed him to go to Bayern. By going there he's allowed us to get a decent fee, and he's gone to a non PL club which softens the blow considerably in my eyes, and more importantly it leaves him in a position to always be a Spurs hero, whereas leaving on a free and going to Utd for example wouldn't go down well with the majority of fans and would definitely tarnish his legacy. I see it as a move of convenience and compromise in order to protect his bond with Spurs......which if true (and i'm probably talking bollocks) begs the question why go.
Yeah. I’d say that is a bit overly romantic and having worked with footballers for 20 years, I haven’t met one who would make such a compromise just to appease a fan base for the future. Keeping fans happy is always the “cherry on top”.

I think few is agreed, Harry to talk directly himself to Bayern now, whilst Daniel is off on holiday. Announced Tuesday, Wednesday next week. That's sadly my take anyway.
Personal terms would have been agreed weeks ago otherwise BM wouldn’t have gone through all this hassle with Levy

If he plays Vs Brentford, I can’t see him going after that, especially after what he said about it being disruptive.
If all of this is going down behind the scenes, I am thinking he won't even play tomorrow, let alone a week from now.

I would also guess Kane wants his first trophy with Bayern next week.

I agree but it will be a facade until we get some players in after which it’ll be revealed that he’s gone

Might be right but I just think Daniel will dictate the pace and ultimately it's gonna prove too much of a ballache for Bayern

I doubt it gets done in time for him to play in that. No concrete News yet on who the replacement is going to be, all we know atm is Muani crossed off the list.

Richarlison is the immediate replacement.

Anyone else we bring in will be competition for Richarlison, not a direct Kane replacement.

This thread is hilarious. Love all those announcing it done, and wishing their farewells, despite us clearly not having responded to the bid before Bayern's deadline.

Numpty in my opinion. Throwing away the most legendary of statuses to go win tin pot cups at Bayern.

Anyway fuck him. Dead to me now. Onwards and upwards
Everybody is entitled to their opinion but genuinely surprised and saddened to see fans with this opinion.

He is one of the greatest strikers of all time, has been for about 6 years now and he has stuck around giving A+ performances trying to help us win things when he could've gone anywhere.

Legend. Always will be!

What I mean is, Levy won’t want to sell Kane and then be going to other clubs with the proceeds. It will delay the process whether a deal has been agreed or not.

We will have to bring in some sort of forward though, and no strong links at the moment.

He has gone to several finals with us where at said finals he did not turn up. We got to the Champions League finals without him , where he made himself available at the finals knowing he was not 100% fit, ie putting himself before the team. Don't fall for the lazy rhetoric fed by the press, that is he needs to move to win something

Was very strange this morning, was and still am unsure as to where the confirmation that Harry is leaving is...

History will remember Kane extremely favorably and most of the negative reaction is slightly understood but it’s also present. I’ll be curious to see people’s feelings in a decade.

Personally, it’ll be the contract he signs with the New England Patriots to be their kicker that will be the dagger for me. Only him signing for Chelsea or Arsenal would tip that.

It wouldn’t be a transfer saga without one of these stories but my mate genuinely just told me his misses sorted out doggo passports for Kane’s labs, never thought I’d be that guy but here we are.

Won’t be offended by the funny ratings 😂

Are they called Eric and Ben?

This may be true, but it's also a little silly. The clubs will know that when Levy shows up on the doorstep looking for a striker, that he is looking to spend the Kane money...

Even if he is going to spend big at a different position - the clubs will still know.
