I think, whilst he's entitled to have a last-minute change of heart, he should really know by now whether he wants to go to Bayern or not. Why the hell would he allow both clubs to go through all this if he's not serious? He could have told Spurs/Bayern as late as Sunday he wasn't interested, he could have released a statement saying he's staying put now he's had time to work with Ange, or it's too close to the start of the season etc. It doesn't seem like he's done any of that. He could kill the speculation now if he wanted to by releasing a statement. The fact he hasn't suggests he's either going or still seriously considering it.
Yeah, like ok the season is only a few days away now, but the way this is playing out makes me think he was never 100% sure he wanted the move.

I just don't see how you do a complete u-turn sinply cos a deal has taken 1 or 2 weeks too long. He's been training with Ange for a month and it's not like he just realised his wife's pregnant

I was actually ready to accept Kane leave this summer, but around 3 weeks ago. If levy cared about the club he would have set a deadline for Bayern so we can get prepared and life without Kane. 2 days before the seasons starts and now he accepts does hurt a bit, and leaves us completely unprepared.
Ideally we'd have bought a striker and given him a year to bed in plus signed some youth talent to develop.

oh wait..?

Because the situation has changed. The season is now a day away, his wife could be giving birth at any point (not party to her due date but once you pass 37 weeks could be anytime), less time to adjust to kids starting school, a big move etc - add the fact that he can choose whoever he wants, guarantee himself some trophies and get paid handsomely next summer - it just doesn’t make sense to me. Running down the contract does. What I can’t get my head around is Bayern making another bid without checking he still wants to come. It looks silly

Yeah but he's known 90% of thst information for months.

Players move late in the window all the time.

I think his heart was never in it.

I don't know if you have been following the Mbappe and PSG saga this summer but it's very similar to Kane's situation. PSG are 100% sure that Mbappe has agreed a pre contract with Real in 2024 and want to sell him now, but he says I ain't going nowhere. Surley there is a chance that Kane has done the same with someone like Man United or Chelsea and Kane is just playing us right now?

if the ball is completely in Harry's court he surely needs to make a decision today for everyone's benefit?

Especially for us here on SC

I'm more and more confident that the press is a week or so behind as what's happening now is exactly what the ITKs were saying a week ago,. That probably means even if he makes a decision today, it's not getting announced for a while (and until we've got replacements sorted).

It wasn’t the case two weeks ago though… two weeks less to sort A LOT of things out. And as people have said, there’s a pregnant woman involved. They can change their minds at the drop of a hat and anyone with experience knows that you shut up and accommodate the person that’s about to push another human out of their body. It tops everything.
