Yeah it’s a shame we couldn’t do that but anyone that looks like a potential superstar at any Red Bull owned team is going to 100% go through Leipzig first before they end up anywhere else
Haaland went from Red Bull Salzburg to Borussia Dortmund.

The state of some of the pitches over there, his ankles won’t make it to next summer.

More confident now that he’s going to end up regretting this.
He hasn’t missed a league game through injury for almost 3 years, and he hasn’t missed one due to an ankle injury since before Covid. I reckon Southgate is delighted with him having a lower workload. I’m gutted he’s gone, but I don’t think that’s a reason he’ll regret it

Agree with the general sentiment : I wish him all the best but thank fuck this happened tonight. If we could somehow win the CC before he wins anything with Bayern that would be euphoric.

Tonight showed one of Kane's worst traits, always making himself available. He had his medical at 1am after a stressful day waiting for the green light. He should have sat this one in the stands.
I’m guessing the manager wanted him to play tbf. Not like it was his fault they were 3-0 down when he came on. If he had some of those chances in the first half they would have won. He should have started but wouldn’t have been a good look for TT and the young lad playing cf.

Seeing him tonight is the first time it's occurred to me that this might not actually work out for him.

I've spent all week in different stages of grief over where it leaves us, this is the first time I've even considered how it'll work for him.

For us and England he is the main man, everything goes through him, everything is geared towards getting the ball to him and providing him options when he has it.

At Bayern, he's not going to be that. He's just part of the team. I'm don't think he'll fail, but I'm not sure he'll succeed there either.

I'd never imaged saying this, but it's possible he has made a big mistake (obviously can't judge on 20 mins in a team he joined this morning)
I watched the match. The chances Bayern missed early on were begging for a Kane to finish them. Bayern gave up by the time he came on. Trust me he will bag a lot of goals.
