William Hill have cut their odds about Harry Redknapp being the next Premier League manager to leave his job from 66/1 to 25/1.

This comes after a rush of bets from punters believing that if Fabio Capello decides to jump ship from England to Inter, the Spurs' boss could be in line for the England managerial job.

"We have seen a number of admittedly modest bets for Harry to be the next boss out, but that would only be a logical bet in the event that Fabio Capello was going to leave his England role - and we offer 8/1 that that happens before the end of the year," said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Meanwhile, Hills have also trimmed Harry from 2/1 to 6/4 favourite to be the next permanent England manager and also offer:

9/2 Martin O'Neill; 5/1 Stuart Pearce; 11/2 Roy Hodgson; 10/1 Steve Bruce; 12/1 Sam Allardyce. Others on request.

Next Prem boss to go... 8/15 Grant; 2/1 Mancini; 9/2 Hodgson; 9 McCarthy; 9 Ancelotti; 25 Redknapp. Others on request.

Capello to leave England post before end of year?....8/1 YES; 1/20 NO

This seems to happen every 5-6 months.
Remember when the same odds got slashed
because everyone thought he was getting sent down?

Sure he'll be here for a while.
Interesting though.

All talk

Until the court case is over they will not even put Harry on the shortlist and the season will be over by the time the verdict is out

Anyone who isn't at least a little bit concerned about all this is a better man than me.

With Benitez clearly off that leaves a vacancy at Inter which could very easily be filled by Capello. If that happens I'm almost certain the FA would approach Harry and he's already said he wouldn't say no. I don't think us being in the Champions League would stop him as this would be his last chance at the job he so obviously wants.

Hopefully Inter appoint someone else and this problem goes away until 2012. But if they appoint Capello I reckon we'll be needing to look for a new manager before long.

Capelllo would lose a lot of dough if he walked away from his contract right now.

Why would harry leave spurs mid season when england arent even playing anytime soon.

Theres 1 euro qualifier in March, thats the only meaningful game between now and the end of the PL season

While I do think we have yo be worried about the scenario of Rafa fired, Capello to Inter, Harry to the quarters....I think this is just the market reacting to bettors seeing Spaletti staying and Rafa soon to be fired.

I'm with you TSH, I got a feeling that this is the way it could go down, Capello apparently wants to go back to Italy and now the top job in Italy is open, 2+2 = 4.

The amount of backing behind Redknapp for the England job will be enough for the FA to give him the job if it suddenly becomes available.

So the question is who will replace him at Tottenham. Benitez, hes back in England already and the Blackburn job is gonna be Keens until the summer, Can't see him taking the Spammers job if it came up.

Martin Jol, Could it actually happen, Could Jol and Levy kiss and makeup and bring the big man and clipboard back to the Lane?

David Moyes, My personal choice for the job, Could we prize him away from Everton, I think so.

Allardyce, Funnier things have happened but it's doubtful.

I think there's a lot of talk about Benitez going back to Liverpool. Not sure how sound that is.

If he is to leave I want either sherwood,Jordan, bond,Allen to have it or even alex inglethorpe

Because I'm having nightmares about either O'neil,Benitez, allardyce, having it and honestly if it went to one of them I couldn't handle it honestly! Cant stand the sight of either of them especially o'neil I detest the man smug arrogant angry prick of a man! And he'd guarantee Keane & Jenas would start everygame!! And bentley probs!

It would seriously kill my passion it would hurt to see any of them 3 as manager of spurs!!

Wouldn't mind

Hoddle or Jol (nostalgia reasons)
Motes or Coyle (good managers but big club not so sure)
Mark Hughes (very astute but not sure)
Roy Hodgson ( could be a good bet similar to redknapp also has great scouting don't me put off by him being appointed pool manager or his record with them Liverpool are in turmoil)

Foreign managers
Hiddink
Van meerwen
Juan Carlos garrido
Ranieri

All good managers

Lower league gambles
Dave jones
Roy Keane lol
Warnock?

Outsiders
Ian holloway ha
Steve bruce

My choice
Roberto martinez young talented and knows how to coach sexy possession football of we could get a defence coach with him I wouldn't mind it very stylish the way he coaches really trys to play football the right way I have seen his coaching and been coached by him very impressive and very spanish! Barcaesque stuff but he is a huge risk and unexperienced!

Or we could go and get arnesen back and see what he comes up with santinis free right?

I really don't want it to happen. It's too soon for Houghton or Poyet who need more time and seem to be prime candidates in a few years time.
