Dan Ashcroft and Jonathanhotspur make me feel sick to my stomach. I hope Harry has shagged both your partners because that is the only excuse for your childish, pathetic, not to mention unconvincing, vendettas.

To all of you that want Harry out have you only been supporting spurs for two years!
I hated the way jol was treated by some fans on this site near the end of his time with us and Ramos really worked out well didn't he!
Harry has done wonders and I'm loving being a spurs fan at the moment.
He is the best manager we have had since berkinshaw and may even turn out to be better.STOP F****** MOANING!

I thought it was a valid point? He's off soon regardless so some forward planning wouldn't go a miss imo. Saying that, forward planning isn't our strong point lol.

It seems to me many people have predetermined agendas against Harry as our manager, it's like they had already decided before he managed a game he was a small club manager and not the man to take us forward (like the visionary Ramos)

I believe that certain people can't wait for harry to mess up so they can make 'told you so' type statements rather than admit they were wrong to prejudge the guy based on public opinion of him as a wheeler dealer Arthur Daily type manager.

He is damn if he does damned if he don't with such fans, if he makes a sub who comes on and wins the game he was lucky and it just proves he should be playing that player more etc (where as other managers would get credit for making match winning changes)

I do agree though that the England job could be one that temps him away from us, Capello looks like he has had enough to me and I wouldn't be surprised if as soon as Harry's legal issues are out of the picture the FA makes moves to offer him the job (it had occurred to me that the reason we didn't spend big in Jan was due to the potential for another manager coming in in the near future)

We shall see, what is important is the here and now. Personally i think Harry has done a great job thus far and deserves to be cut a little slack from these fans looking to jump on his back for any slight issue.

- 5 windows and no decent forward signing (or even clear target).

- Small club mentality transfer targets like Bellamy, Parker and Neville.

- Relentlesly persisting with 2 very poor forwards who have only scored 2 goals combined since April.

- Picking Pienaar ahead of Krancjar when Modric is out and we are lacking in creativity.

- Making us look amateurish/clueless in every interview he does.

No matter how good motivator he may be, the guy still has plenty of room for improvement.

How can you even have the nerve to criticise this when your sig suggests we buy Kalinic who is behind the likes of Jason Roberts at Blackburn. You dumb fuck!

Better to sit on the garden fence than topple off it onto the compost pile of stupidity where you reside, playing in the muck...

There doesn't seem to be many shades of grey round here. Grey's been big this winter. Could we be missing a trick?

Nope. But I could shag yours if you like?

It seems to me that because Spurs are doing better under 'Arry than in the last 20-30 years of mediocricity, there are many posters on here that a) just can't handle the fact we're becoming more successful or worse still (the Roy Keane prawn sandwich brigade) b) they want INSTANT success and can't handle anything less.
Each to their own of course but the majority of us that have been fans for a good while are extremely excited by what's going on at our club........challenging for 4th spot, perhaps even second or third, Champions League final 16, so plse., instead of criticizing all the time support the man, he's done for us what none of you "pendejos" could ever do, playing good footie too.

This isn't going to be allowed to descend into an abuse-fest. Some of you need to check your PM's.

I think Arrry should have some minor surgery around the eyes as there looking droopy. Poor man obviously has a lot on his mind and not sleeping well. Otherwise such a gentleman

I would just like to add that this was my misses thinking she would add a message for me.

Anyway, I love `Arry. He's not perfect and doesnt get everything right, neither does DL but who does? Sir red nose? No, everyone has made mistakes. Yes others have strengthened but I think our squad is stronger as well. As long as we keep winning and picking up points it's going to be close as last season. Believe.

I'm completely baffled by all the negativity.

We've lost just once in the last 14 league games.

We've added Gallas, VdV, Pienaar and Sandro to the squad for £17 million. Previosuly he got in Palacios, Cudicini, Bassong, Kaboul and Nico, and his youngest signing, Kyle Walker, has just strolled into the full England side.

I really don't see a lot wrong with our manager's results or transfer policy.

So he couldn't compete in a very small market for top-class strikers against multi-billionaire competition, give him a f*****g break.

Some people just love moaning. It is an internet wide thing. People just love to sit in dark corners and snipe off others. I don't know, maybe it makes them feel better about their life.

Harry could win the Champions League this year and their would be still people here with an axe to grind. I don't get it, I really don't.

Some of the responses in this thread show SC is dying slowly.

I hope we return to being shit soon, because some of you can't handle being a decent team.

I think what we need is a new thread from Andy.

As long as this place has contributors like Sloth, BC and Gibbsy, it's worth visiting.

I wonder if Beckham and Neville will end up on his coaching staff for England?

Who do you reckon we should get next to truly seize the moment and take the next step?

Until then though, COYS!

ps - harry, please engage brain.

Ramos was a blip! The board were on the right track imo. Not that I agree with the way Jol was treated! Harry was the correct replacement given the circumstances. Now he's done a great job, but we're not gonna get much more from Harry now, he's proving that with the actions he takes. He certainly isnt long term, so we need to get back on track and replace him when it suits us, not him.

Speak to Charlton fans about Curbishley taking them as far as they could. Talk to Leeds fans about boring George Graham, Talk to Villa fans about O'Neil etc etc.

What a load of nonsense. How long have you been supporting Spurs? We are as high as we have ever been and without some Abu Dhabi stoopid money laundering scheme or Russian sugar Daddy we would be top 4 every season. He is doing an AMAZING job. The league is at its most competitive ever and we are in February and our league stats are

P W D L PTS GD

25 12 8 5 46 +8

Look AT THOSE STATS. Most seasons I am look for us to win more than we lose. Under Ramos we lost more games in our first 8 than we have all season so far.

You lot don't know how good you have it. Always remember Plough Lane and that we were 1 game from being relegated. We are not Man U. nor are with Liverpool. We are a top 10 team who are performing well above our natural potential.

And if you know your history.

Harry is fantastic. I've been a season ticket for 10 years and a member for 20 and yes it was good under Jol for a period but we haven't been this consistent since Burkinshaw.

And you want to get rid.......:bang:

I agree with the rest but you could also look at it that when we were a top ten team that we were performing below our natural potential.

The natural order of things in the english game for the past 50 or so years are that there are 5 naturally big and successful clubs Us, Mancs, Pool, Scum and Everton. Money has added City (not been successful yet) and Chelski. So I would argue that our natural potential is that we are a top 5 or 6 club. Nearly all commentators and observers for the past 20 years have said that we are the most likely club to break the top 4 monopoly on a consistent basis and they have said that whether we have been awful or decent. That is simply based on our natural potential as a club.
