Eh?
What smoke? You've said yourself it could be rubbish?

Without a source/link, then it's certainly 100% rubbish.
As @McFlash said in his post...

Well, there's a couple of sources that have said similar and when coupled with Hugos statement, some of the things Jose and others have said, not to mention Winks' performances this season.
It's not a far stretch to make.

Edit. In fact it's far less of a stretch than trying to blame Levy of some kind of smoke and daggers, conspiracy to slur!

I feel no smoke without fire

Basically, read this thread and you'll find what you're looking for.
It's up to you what you do with it but the information is there.

Ah I see, no smoke, no sources, no links... just a lot of guesswork, cheers! (y)
The cousin stuff is whatever, take that with a pinch of salt, but Trix has posted on the matter. You can go and look for yourself. And then of course, we make our own assumptions based off what we see at the club. Hugo told us himself that not every player is pulling in the same direction and Winks had his reduced role become total exile from the last match day squad. Can draw your own conclusions but since we haven’t heard anything about an injury the most likely answer is that his presence wasn’t wanted among the team. Of course, we can only guess at the exact nature of what’s been said or what’s been done behind the scenes, but there’s plenty indication he’s not the good egg many of us liked to think he was.

Harry Winks
stats per 90 mins based on my perspective:
Crossfield passes to switch play - 0
Through ball - 0
Ball to openspace to release full back - 0
1-2 pass with fowards - 0
Dribble /take ons - 0
Succesful tackle - 0
Tactical foul - 0
Foward pass - 2

Instead of little iniesta, he should be named little doherty, im sure Poch agrees with me.

You have been provided with a link to Ionmans post and you should be more than capable of looking at Trix's posts yourself rather than having someone else collate them for you. As others have said, look back through the thread and you will see certain points and posts.

There's plenty of smoke I'm afraid.

@WinksyBoy rather than just Spamming, disagreeing and WTF the posts I and @McFlash have made. Do you have any input on the subject rather than dismissing us because we fail to provide every drop of information to you?

I think I’ve said this before too. Apparently he could have easily become a billy big bollocks getting in with the Essex crowd and dating the love island / TOWIE level celebs. Poch wasn’t too happy with that lifestyle but fortunately he didn’t go down that path. But I can see now that he has potential to be disruptive internally.
He is now a Hertfordshire boy and owns a home in Radlett.

You have provided nothing, apart from opinion and gossip.

Discussions of opinions - that is what a messageboard is for isn't it? Would all be a bit boring if it was just all repeating statements of fact?!

I am stating that I and others believe he is causing the club problems with his level of performance, attitude, connecting the dots of interviews from Hugo etc and the fact he didn't make the match squad again last game.

Harry reminds me of Tom Huddlestone in that he would have thrived by going to Italy or Spain rather than seeing out his career at Spurs.
He's a damned fine passer of the ball and with both feet which is rare even at this level. His entire game is built around moving the ball and the opposition.
He's not physical enough to play as a holding midfielder or as a pivot which means he is useless to Jose. He's been horribly exposed this past year and I'm not surprised he's been affected.
This rumour mill is typical of the way a player gets undermined when they are struggling and peddling these rumours says more about us than the player.
I had hoped he might have gone on loan to Valencia as he had the option to do but any possession based team on the continent could do worse than him. Passing sideways and backwards is actually what you do when you are trying to manipulate an opponent and exactly what we used to do with Poch where all our penetration came from moving the ball from flank to flank, waiting for the opponent to open up, lunge rashly or turn their back on a danger man as the ball moves away from them.
I loved those Madrid games. They couldn't pick him up and as they tried to press him centrally he'd calmly push the ball out the flank and start another phase of attack. We were absolutely dominant but we rarely tried it in the PL where we had physical domination from Dembele to fall back on.
It's worth noting that he also shone as a No.10 for England. He was sorely missed for his calmness and ball retention, so vital in internationals, when he was injured as he frequently was.
I thought he would push on and develop into a No.8 but he doesn't have the physique or speed to do that but to rubbish him because he can't play like Hojbjerg is to overlook what he can do. If we stick with Jose, he needs to go but, despite his current form and the amount of time passed since he was last able to show what he can do, there will be managers all over the continent who will happily take a punt on him.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if those who want him out are the same who wanted Poch out or Jose to replace him. Maybe that comes from a frustration at not winning anything with Poch that makes us resent possession based football and, by extension, a possession player. Who knows. We've had some amazing moments with him and he's Spurs. He deserves a little more respect than he's getting right now.
Winks is not a great passer, his short range stuff is ok but he hasnt got any range at all.

other than Winks and Huddlestone both running in treacle they’ve nothing else in common.

Thudd had an excellent array of cross field passing, a very good through ball, very good at deep free kicks, he could shoot and he was built like a tank. He was very similar to Xabi Alonso but lacked the intelligence and movement of Alonso.

Winks on the other hand is woeful at cross field balls, has next to no power or control in his shots, he can’t tackle for shit, picks up stupid yellow cards and has a nasty habit of giving away unnecessary free kicks in dangerous positions and blows away in the wind (easily bullied off the ball).
