That's woeful. Although, watching them on Saturday it's not really surprising. I wonder how long they will persist with him if that record continues?

I think his championship performance with them was well below par considering the squad they had as well.

I'm not overly surprised, I've got two QPR fans in the office who said they knew they were going down when all the 'Houdini' stuff was being touted.

And as for the 3 at the back that we've seen in the last two games, if he doesn't switch that sharpish they will get arseholed by every side they come up against. Even if they get rid of Dunne, it's still not a formation that is going to work when the majority of teams playing effectively 4 attackers. LVG will work it out soon enough, I'm not sure Harry will and I think they are on a one way ticket from whence they came.

I think H and LVG will go to a back four quite soon

I think they need to, but I don't think H will do soon enough...

I would have thought HR will change before LVG?
LVG looks to be a bit of the Maggie Thatcher about him. This ladies not for turning et al

He has a shite squad tbf.

Yes, but this is a man's game, he has to take the rough with the smooth, regardless of his squad and what he's doing with it, the formation is bollocks.

I think those who say QPR should have won the league in the Champs are unfair, but now it's time for Harry The Bastard to earn his corn.

Think they need to go back to the old 4-4-triffic formation. Surely Harry should be able to get that team to upper bottom half.

Daily Mirror's linked Sherwood with the QPR job already I see.

Not sure, I think it would make the appointment of Glenn a bit redundant, and like Harry persisting with the 2 up top and 2 wingers when he was here, I can see him taking a while to resist the urge.

What gets me is that neither of them have the centre backs to pull it off well.

We started with 2 CB's but they moved all over the place. Vertongen's (left sided CB) right wing forays were a great example of the needed flexibility in todays game ;). LVG though looks quite rigid in his formation which did surprise me considering his Ajax roots.

I may be wrong but perhaps Harry bought into the 3 at the back idea when Glen was talking about using it at Spurs before Sherwood took over and he was linked, IIRC Glen said it could take half a season for the squad to get used to playing that way* and you can tell Glen has a bit of a fixation with getting it to work in English football.

But with respect to QPR we had/have a lot of the players who could've made a decent fist of it, they haven't at time of posting.

H being H gets an idea in his mind and he's stubborn to change it until it's too late. Time will tell.

*(to be honest the theory behind it is sound and it is something i'd have like to have seen us do for home games for teams that parked the bus)
