Daniel Levy had to act in what he perceives to be the interests of the club , even now that the club is privately held rather than publicly listed .

As part of that he had to decide whether to distance himself and the club from Harry or openly support him .

Have myself been in a situation when things were looking to my superiors like they would go tits up and despite trying to exude confidence to stop them from panicking they demonstrated they were a bunch of pussys who didn't have the stomach for it .

They started to sever their ties with me incase it all went wrong .

When it turned into a resounding success at the 11th hour they were being all pally again but it was too late - the damage had already been done .

Has Danny shown enough support to Harry ?

Will the relationship ever be the same again ?

Harry thanked Levy along with some other members of the Spurs staff during his interview post court this afternoon. So thats good enough for me.

Wow , everyone's on the ball tonight .

Two replies in 60 seconds .

I'll be a happy man if that means the answer to both questions is "yes" .

I think Levy has played it just right especially given the biggest show of support was that he didn't get sacked despite being investigated for a criminal offence

Yes and there's really nothing to suggest otherwise. Good job we did too, or we'd be looking like idiots today and probably receiving our own court summons on unfair dismissal charges tomorrow.

I think your bosses were right; they should have hid you in a shed the woods, in absolute isolation, until your mind has gone and then release you into the Alaskan wilderness; you are a...:eh:

I don't know, I think all is well between them - ITK of their overseas shenanigans and who they are trying to bring to the club, from the last TW, don't suggest that therre is any problem with them.

Spurs can show their support to their guys without resorting Liverpool-style chest-beating.

It's called class.

Are we talking "Freddie Shepherd" style ?

They are going up even further in my estimation .

This.

Just popped back in here to slag Liverpool off and say we do things in a more classily way funnily enough.

I think SSN reported that at least one member of the board was in attendance for every day of the trial. That looks like support to me.

Darren Eales and Donna Cullen were at the trial every day according to Harry

Levy will not have had the time to attend but the club have been very supportive of Harry

Yes they appointed him when this problem was known and have supported him without any Liverpool style shooting your own brains out posturing, as Harry himself acknowledges.
Might be the deciding factor as to whether Harry goes or stays.

Distanced himself and destroyed the relationship?
That sounds like it should be on "our tune" on the Simon Bates radio program.
