Just like to say I hugely appreciate the support for Palacios, and I have sent an e-mail to the club about this proposal and to see if they could spread the word in some form around the ground and even suggested a joint minute silence for edwin palacios and jade defoe. I know they will do nothing about it but its worth a try.

Problem with this Chimbo is that not enough people will stupidly know his name the chant will be goin and people will be syaing "what was his brothers name" so its easier to keep with wilson as we know him and love him, it shows that he hasnt let us down at all this season and he could become a legend.

date and time it was sent ?
did you personalise the mail, if so, who to ?

it would just depend on who's mailbox it dropped into and what auto acknowledgement they had set up on their machine, i would be more concerned if you did not receive an acknowledgement at all, the auto is used to tell you that it has been received and will get attention.

Sounds like a nice idea. Its the last game at WHL this season, so hopefully this will help the atmosphere aswell. He certainly deserves a lot of credit and support for playing so well for us during the circumstances. And i hope he and his family get justice for what happened.

On another note, it'd be nice if Defoe scores a hat-trick and we all chant Wilson Palacios. Give him a taste of his own medicine :lol:

Hello folks. Im sure all of you are now aware of the murder of Wilson Palacios's younger brother Edwin. He doesnt deserve this and to play football and produce such quality knowing his brother was kidnapped is baffling. And to even wait 6 hours for harry to wake up and tell him the news is even more baffling. But this just goes to show what a terrific lad he is and deserves nothing but respect. So my petition, more like an idea, is to try and get as many fans as possible going to the man city game to perform a minute chant of "wilson pa-la-cios" like we usually do at the start of the game. I will be chanting his name and i hope people will join in. This thread is also available to give any messages of support to Wilson. Thanks for your time.

You've got to have huge respect for Wilson Palacios. In an era of spoilt brats we've got a real man in our team.

Wonder how he or his family would feel about his brother's name "Edwin Palacios" being chanted.:shrug:.

Kidnapped and killed at 16? God bless the Palacios family.
