I was ok until yesterday, quietly looking forward to the next four days with little or no expectation.

Woke up this morning and full on butterflies!! Don't want to go out at this stage of the EL again, especially with the prize on offer.

Definitely do not want to lose to those tossers on Sunday, but which time my bowels will be a writhing mess of wet farts.

So how is everyone else feeling??

I've been worrying about it all week. Hope I can just enjoy the day.

When it comes to the final, I don't think the nerves will come until the match have started and I realise that "hey, we may actually win this thing".

In the words of Al Pacino in Stella Street:

'I'm so nervous I've been farting all night...'

I thought you were talking specifically about the League Cup. Can't say I'm nervous about the EL - more of an inconvenience than anything else.

Just going to enjoy the day with my family. My son and daughter will be all kitted out in Lilywhite and we're going to have a party.

Win or lose, I'm going to enjoy the day, we don't have many of them.

I only get nervous when the game starts then settle down a bit but feel tense throughout. It's quiet weird because on one hand I'll be excited and on the other hand I'll be worried. I will only truely enjoy it if we've won come the final whistle. I'm more concerned about the final but want us to progress in the Europa League as well.

I have to remind myself though that this is a new breed that we're bringing through and a new era for the club. Whatever happens in the next few days will be great experience for this team. My hatred for Chelsea makes it hard to accept we might lose but hopefully we can get to more cup finals over the next few years.

I have a good feeling about this final. Ive missed all the other three we played for different reasons. I cant really watch Spurs on the TV so much because of anxiety but I will buy a small bottle of champagne and the day will be a special occasion. I think ill do like usual, have the TV on without sound, sit by the computer logged in to the official site and just pray for the best.

It would mean the world to me if we took the EL title too.

I'm not nervous as i won't have any hope or expectation of a win until about 2 minutes before kick off, which will last for 5 minutes and then resurface again with about 6 minutes remaining when we pull a goal back.

Not really - I don't think we have that great a chance of winning the Europa League, a lot of decent enough teams and its a hard task.

The Cup final is also going to be a tough ask. We've upset Chelsea once this season already, and they will be bang up for it this time. That's without even factoring our schedule and the trip to Italy days beforehand.

No, and I don't think I will be. I do want us to try and win the Europa League of course but even as I was watching the first leg, had it been a league game my blood would have been boiling at us not winning that game but I couldn't shake the feeling of not caring as much even though I really hoped we'd gain a good 1st leg lead.

I'll be more nervous come Sunday but for some reason I have a good feeling about the game. We've shown that we can trouble Chelsea, even when losing 3-0. The difference being that at home we were clinical.

Been building up since Monday, slowly slowly. I want a win tomorrow for sure and that will set us up very nicely for Sunday's game. COYS

I'm nervous about the final. It's such an unknown quantity with our possible fatigue and number of young inexperienced (ish) players, whereas Chelsea have a lot of 'been there done it' type players. But I think back to the 08 final when we came out of the traps really fast. Hopefully we can get a good start again to get our confidence going on Sunday.

I suspect I'll be like this, but only because I usually am.

yeah i am absolutely bloody nervous. i have no idea how to break it to the wife that i will be watching the Rugby on Saturday, the cup final plus build up for most of Sunday and then i have a pool match to play Sunday night. I am nervous that i havent got enough brownie points stored up to get away with this.

Have the nerves kicked in yet?? - HELL YEAH!! :-O

I have a bunch of friends who are Chelsea and Liverpool fans, so the 'Banter' started ages ago!!

But funnily enough, I'm more nervous about the Fiorentina game than the Cup Final.
