I suspected that's what prompted the Rebic rumours. Plays as a left forward, Townsend has played right forward fit QPR, two players cutting in to provide support centrally?

I'm not sure mate? I think you go to the post & there's an option by the ratings bit that says "undo rating"? As for what does 'Spam' mean, I think it's equivalent to junk mail etc. Thanks though bud, I was looking at a sleepless night because of your rating lol

I don't think it's too surprising that he would want to go to Dortmund. He's settled in Germany, and Dortmund are CL finalists. It's quite a draw they have for them. Hard to see how we could be to blame if he goes there.

True, I also think Townsend's brilliant form maybe a factor, meaning our interest has cooled a bit. I'd still like to sign him though!!

Hopefully we will realize we need much more versatility up top. Having a guy like Son who can operate as a lone striker in a pinch as well as provide starting-caliber talent out wide is just too good to pass up.

That's why I don't think Townsend's play has that much of a factor in it. I think Son is seen much more as a striker whereas Townsend is an old school winger. And I don't think that the interest has died from our end, but it was always my understanding that he was going to end up at Dortmund. It's a shame really, I think he will be a great player, but it won't be the end of the world. I'd be bothered more if he was going somewhere just for money, ala Chelsea, Man City, PSG, or now Monaco.
I am much less bothered losing out to another club that does things the right way; like Dortmund.
