I keep reading that people are turning against Levy, I haven't seen that much of it myself.
So just wanted to ask how long do you give him before you lose patience. I've seen people lose patience with a player or coach after one game, yet Danny boy has failed to deliver regular CL football and all we have won is the league cup in 13 years and people love him.

Too late for me, he needs to take a back seat and let the system he wanted to implement actually function properly.

I honestly lost patience when he sold Berbatov and didn't replace him! Then he sacks our best managers and replaces them with clowns.

I have my issues with Levy....but the fact that we are complaining about not getting regular CL football and only have the league cup as a trophy during his tenure actually isn't one of the issues. Simply because if you look at our performance for the 13years prior to Levy/Uncle Joe's arrival we wouldn't even be having this debate, for all his flaws he has elevated the club.

Now that he has elevated the club and raised expectations he needs to do business a bit differently in my opinion and thus far he hasn't done that.

But he expects coaches to get CL football so he raised expectations himself.

If there's criticism of Levy to be had, i'm usually at the front banging the drum and I think I said the other day in some thread or another that people were starting to lose patience with him, but what I meant by that was that a lot more people were actually starting to criticise him and recognise that he isn't without fault here instead of how it was, where anything bad said about R2D2's understudy had 95% of SC foaming at the mouth.
You are a good poster mate but a brocken record with your obsession with Levy. Its boring.
TBF to the mullmeister, that's how it is with those who defend him come what may. As you will no doubt shortly see in this very thread ;)

He did replace him. Are you forgetting the mighty Frazier Campbell? One of the worst things about that deal was the fact that we had no option to buy, meaning that on the off chance that he turned out to be any good, he'd go back to United anyway.

We sold United our best player, then bent over to let them use us as a testing ground for one of their youngsters. One of the most idiotic transfers we've ever been involved in, and the one I always remember whenever people bang on about how much of a genius Levy is.

Redeemed himself slightly when he put his foot down over Modric's attempt to join the chavs, but can't say I have any faith left in him not making more poor decisions in the future.

Agreed and that is where some of my issues with Levy lay. He has raised the expectations to the supporters but has not adapted to the expectations that he is now selling to all of us.

But i do give him credit for lifting the club up to a level where the expectations of CL football and Cup wins are reasonable expectations.

Oh yes I remember him, and Raziak. I said he didn't replace Berbatov because Campbell was only on loan.

I remember quite clearly Campbell was due to sign for Hull, bloody Hull and we signed him on loan in the place of Berbatov. Terrible.

Until we have more money coming in we are where we are. Its basic economics. All the bleating in the world will not change this.

All the clubs above us in the EPL and Man U have greater incomes.

As many have said cast your mind back and give thanks. We are doing very well for our current financial situation.

Levy just buys and sells to maximize Spurs profits. He knows little to nothing about players, other than their relative costs. I dare say he love to find a football man as an adviser he could count on, because to be frank they are in the main bloody poor.

I have very little to blame Levy for.

If some are fed up with following Spurs, it is sad. But I see no way this will change markedly until we increase our revenue. Or more dangerously, get a even more wealthy owner.

Levy calls the time dude, which is why I think the OP is kinda redundant. He is MD of the company that owns the club. He is the one who decides whether we like it or not.

While i don't this he is succeeding in meeting our expectations, i think he is trying to.

Soldado, Eriksen, Paulinho, Lamela - are these not signings of a higher level that we have been use to? Regardless of how they have performed was breaking our transfer record 3 times in 1 window not raising the bar?

And do you not think getting rid of AVB for fear of his Managerial nous not being able to take us into that level mirrors what a huge portion of spurs supported wanted?

Are we not still challenging for top 4? even as an outside chance? Are we not still in a cup?

Unfortunately, he didn't pick the right guy for the job 2 years ago - I was excited to have AVB at the club when he first joined and his appointment showed ambition, regardless of how it turned out, the intention was there right?

I tapered my expectations at the beginning of the season based on the circumstances surrounding what was happening at the club. I didn't think we could buy 7 new players and automatically be sure of finishing in the top 4. Had all the pieces magically fitted together by some miracle then sure that would be amazing but we truly had no factual reasons to really believe that was possible.
