Given Harry's not going to get the England job, how many more years do you want him to stay?

I voted zero. I don't advocate sacking him, but I would be happiest if he left us this summer. However if he chooses to stay then I don't think we should extend his contract, and we should make it clear to him that we won't.

Doesn't that depend on how we're doing?

To some degree, but whenever a chairman offers a manger a multi-year contract it's with the implicit understanding that it depends how well he does, this doesn't prevent him offering multi-years however.

So from this point in time, how many years would you want him to remain with us, with the understanding you've the right to change your mind later :) ?

Thats exactly how I feel Sloth. If we finish 4th, he's earnt the right to see out the last year of his contract, because for two of the 3 full seasons that he will have been in charge he will have brought CL football to the lane, and that cannot be underestimated and is a great achievment.

I just wish all of this had never happened to be honest. The England thing, the freefall, the strange tactics, the silly things he as said recently. He could have walked out with his head held high, and a legend in some of the fans eyes.

Now, most fans want him gone. It's all sucha shame.

So if we win our last 3 games and Arse slip up against either Norwich or WBA and we finish 3rd would you like to see him sacked?

How do you know that?

I am not sure really, football is a results business, so if he gets results then he should get a new contract. He does annoy me more than any Spurs manager in living memory but that is isn't a good enough reason not to offer him a new contract.

The problem with this is ending up in a situation similar to the England debacle where the managers influence is compromised. Players doubting the long term future of their manager is never good.

I voted zero because I have always felt Harry is too one dimensional tactically and too unimaginative in the transfer market.

Personally I think we need to wait until the end of the season and view the campaign as a whole!

You then also have to see if there is a better alternative who is available, which in itself won't be easy! There is the players views to take in to consideration, whatever we think about Redknapp both Bale and Modric plus also VDV seem to like playing for him. Also despite recent reports I've only heard Adebayor saying good things, if Redknapp stays could he be tempted to sign etc?

seems to me that there's a hell of a lot to take in to consideration and nothing should even be looked at until the season has finished.

I went for 0.

Although he doesn't push my buttons like he does some with his interviews, I do think that his transfer policies, inability to address problems when form slumps and inability to manage a squad to be detrimental to the club.

Next please.

If he does get us 3rd he deserves another year but he also deserves a bollocking to get his act to together, stop talking ill of the club and fans and start to take responsibility for his actions

I would like to see Harry given the money he needs to get a quality keeper,a top ch and a goalscorer, then i would review how we are doing at xmas with no excuses of England or prison ,if we are flying again why would we want to lose him? but at his age i wouldn't think he would be offered a long extension anyway however we were performing.

Until there is an achievable upgrade, and I'm not talking about a Lambert or a Rodgers. A genuine upgrade.

One more year, with some actual money spent.
