Check out the new slim fit Hudd. I guess the whole revamped training sessions under JR, MA & GP working wonders to all of our players. Hope all the hard work in the training will go a long way in helping the team challenging the top four or even challenging for the title. Way to go fellas.....:clap:

The trouble with Hudd is his head's too big. The head is apparently the heaviest part of your body and sports like golf and horse jumping hold that the position of the head is essential to balance and equilibrium, no matter how lean he gets I reckon he's always going to have trouble with mobility simply because of his fucking big bonce.

Yeah fair play to him, looks a hell of a lot fitter than last season, where he looked fitter than the season before. It'll be interesting to see how it has affected his mobility, as when some people lose weight, their mobility doesn't necessarily improve.

He doesn't look like he can do much more fitness-wise though and could well cement that CM place next season, because to lose so much weight and get so fit, shows a fantastic attitude.

Huddlestone is just naturally BIG, he was never fat.

It wouldn't surprise me if his fitness results were in the upper section of the squad.

I posted something similar last week. On the first day back at training he looked slimmer than when he played for the U21s at the end of the season. This suggests that when all the other players were relaxing etc over the summer, the Hudd was working hard and sticking to his diet. I think along with Berba and Modric, he's the most talented player in the squad, so if he was able to sort out his physcical problems, he'll be one of the best midfielders in the Prem.

In none of these photos does he look fat in any way, even looks decent in the skin tight one, but looks muscley, his muscles are probably more toned now, and therefore he's as strong but not as big, which can only be a good thing.

I'm beginning to think Modric and Huddlestone could be a great central midfield combination

I know everyone is expected a new defensive midfielder but we currently have Modric, Huddlestone, Jenas and Zokora. I can't see Jenas or Zokora leaveing, the Hudd signed a new 5 year deal, Modric is our record signing. If we get a new DM, Jenas, Zokora or the Hudd may not even make the bench which won't happen.

I dont think its so much about mobility (although it does help especially when recovering from mistakes) its more about brains and positional sense which a player learns through experience only.

As far as im concerned hudd will become a better player through more experience and game time, rather than becoming more mobile (which probably wont happen anyway as he's just a big fella)

obviously being fitter isnt a bad thing and will only enhance his performances too
