Great signing. One of the originals signed over 2 summers that helped turn this club around from a no-hoper into one which could stand tall again. Been with us since he was 18. The time was right though, actually overdue. Good luck to him.

his pass against Man City at the Lane was a special moment in a great win for the club - he also played a key role in our victorious race the CL 2010, not least his spectacular winning goal against Blackburn

Fantastic technique but limited in other aspects of his game and never going to be good enough to cement a first team spot with us and where we want to be - that being said he's too good to be sat on our bench or worse still in our reserves.

Good luck to him - I'm sure he'll make a solid PL career for himself at a lower tier outfit like Hull and where ever else he ends up

Truly, you were the best fridge I have seen play for us.

Reckon he'll have a Chadam esque-impact at Hull. Good signing for them.

I'm always sad to see a long serving player go especially ones that gave us as many great moments as Thudd.

That goal v Man City, the volley v Zagreb in the UEFA, the 2nd v Chelsea in the 4-4, the 2nd in the 3-3 draw v the Goons, the screamer v Bolton which was so vital to our CL qualification...i could go on.

Thanks again Thudd. You will be missed

Good luck, always enjoyed watching him, great vision and passing just a shame about the injuries. If Hull can get the right midfield around him, he will do very well for them.

Really? I thought he was £1.5m, if not £2.5m? Still good value, even though he was only 18 when we got him.
Basically it was in our local paper at the times and the 3 owners of derby were in court and facing prison time and they went through all the accounts and it was revealed that Derby only received £600k from us

I'll miss the Hudd.

I hope this move sees him become an established player in the Premier League.

The years I spent willing this kid on to be a superstar. Good luck to him, I wish him well.

Don't forget that bringing him on against Young Boys helped to turn the tie in our favour. Always liked him but we have moved on to a different level now.

Think he could have gone somewhere better but he will do well I think.

With regular games he could do a great job for them.

Someone like him with ability but limited mobility (polite...) needs to be match sharp to have a chance in the prem. Coming in for the odd game was never going to suit Tom.

Agreed, needs regular football to ever reach full fitness and his peak in terms of sharpness. Not going to get it at Spurs any more but good luck Hudd, thanks for the memories.
