Goal v Man C was superb tekkers.

Anyway good luck Tom, think you could have gone to a better team than Hull like Villa, Newcastle, Fulham, Everton but hope he does well at the KC.

Basically it was in our local paper at the times and the 3 owners of derby were in court and facing prison time and they went through all the accounts and it was revealed that Derby only received £600k from us

Result!! Levy had it away with him & Bale due to selling club difficulties!

You will be missed Hudd, you were great servant to the club, I loved your long-ranger goals, especially Vs City Away & Bolton @ Home. Congrats on winning the Carling Cup with us & good luck @ Hull

Loved him. And while I see the logic, it doesn't mean I won't miss him.

Hope he does wonders there. He deserves a chance at being integral to a team again. Just hope he has two poor games this year ;)

Genuinely sad to see Hudd leave, although the timing is probably right for both parties. Probably one of the finest passers of the ball I have ever seen.

A real shame that his ankle injury really seems to have set him back. I wish him all the best for the future and will applaud him when he returns to the Lane for Hull.

Bit gutted to see him go actually!

Can't think of many that can hit the ball as sweetly as THE HUDD

really i'm pretty gutted, fantastic vision, great passer but really he got caught napping a little too often. Please lets not Caulker ourselves again, need Capoue announced ASAP.

Quality player, will be sad to see him go

But his mobility was the issue, and it was especially exploited in a 4-4-2 against the better sides. He still managed to be a very important member of the side that finished 4th first time around, along with captaining the team to that famous 3-1 victory over Inter the following season.

His passing range is sublime, and I still think there are few more technically gifted English players than Tom currently.

Play him in the middle of a 3-man midfield with willing runners, and if he keeps his fitness, he may well flourish.

Good luck Thudd.

He'll more than likely bang one in on the opening day and get a new haircut :)

I won't celebrate Tom's departure. Part of the furniture for the past 7 or 8 years, always just wanted to play for the club, scored some stunning goals and was a key part of our CL qualification side. I do think we have moved on now and it's right for both parties, but I wish the lad well and hope he does well at Hull.
