One of the things i have enjoyed about the Hudd this season has been that he is getting forward a hell of a lot more. He is making runs towards and into the box, and I think this has come about because of his general increased mobility.

He has got a very good shot on him and I wouldnt be surprised if he becomes a more attack minded centre mid than a defence minded one. His vision and passing is second to none

He had another decent game tonight for the u-21s. A pivotal role in midfield and a lot was channelled through him. Quite a rock in defence too at corners and throw ins.

I watched the game too, and have to agree with you, but "a lot" was an understatement, everything seemed to involve him.

Also, got up and down the pitch well, and dictated tempo with series' of short passes and only occasionally went for the long ball when it was necessary. Good work rate and good tackling, a couple of times he sprinted 70 odd yards to join in the attack.

And, well taken pen and good set piece delivery, apart from one free kick straight at the wall.

When Glen was manager at Wolves he played him more up field, and he looked a better player there, than in front of the back four.
