See this kind of attitude pisses me off...........why should we settle for mediocrity, there are fans here paying an absolute fortune in money investing in this club and have got very little success in return.
I want Spurs to be as big as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich and I want us to win at least one fucking league title before I pop my clogs.
What pisses me off is your delusions of grandeur and entitlement. I would also like to see us win all of the above. But it isn't going to happen for a few years. I'm realistic. You need to temper expectation compared to the current size of the top 20 clubs in Europe. We are minnows. If you can't deal with that reality. I feel for you. As it's going to be horrible for you being a spurs fan.

I can understand his frustration a bit as I always used to want to see us win the league it was something I was passionate about but now it no longer bothers me as I came to the conclusion a few years back we are never going to win it.
I think if we can reach the odd league cup final from time to time while playing a bit of half decent football that should please most on here as without big spending you don't really do much.
This summer search for a manager should be entertaining and will probably be our best signing of the window

There are one set of fans who suffered as much if not more than us and they are the Manchester City fans, only they can truly feel our pain.
Their pain has now been alleviated, we can but hope ours will soon be too.

Portsmouth, Sheffield United, Coventry City, Bradford, Wolves, Birmingham, Leeds United, Sheffield Wednesday are all relatively big clubs that have fallen from the top league. Some have been and some still are in an horrendous state.
Even Sunderland, Aston Villa & Newcastle traditionally have at least as big a fan base as us.
We might not be having the season we all hoped for but there are others that are far worse.

There was a time when Spurs were known as The Bank of England club which spent big sums of money on players. That is how we won the Double which was unique at the time. A top club in European terms.

Two things have occurred. The stadium has been reduced in capacity by nearly 50%. Other clubs have been taken over by mega rich foreigners.

Yes we have missed out on both counts

They ought to implement a handicap system like in golf, where the game is weighted by how much money the team has spent. For example, ManC and Chelsea should start every game 2 goals down, to make up for the fact that they don't play by the same rules. If you look at our results verses our spending, we actually consistently over achieve. It's just that our handicap is not taken into account.

And the huge amount of pentuple and sextuple boogies we keep making this year.

Our handicap is ourselves in the main two seasons running we had it in our own hands to cement fourth spot or third one time but again our own inability to see things through cost us.
Also I like your handicap system but in reality city and Chelsea have done nothing wrong with having owners who want to spend and be the best and more importantly stay there.
