What's new

I feel that one has to go...

Who has to be sacrificed? Who has to leave Spurs?

It seems blatantly obvious that Jenas and Zokora are not compatible with each other. Every game they play together, either one plays great, the other pants and when they both play well in the same game, it seems only after the system has been changed to accommodate both of them; although this observation could be wrong?

So, SpursCommunity, my fellow Brothers and Sisters; Jenas or Zokora, you decide!

The progress will be in other areas of the pitch where change is needed!

yes they will both be here but jenas will probably ask for a transfer after losing his regular cm starting spot.. (given we sign at least 1 quality central mid)

Depends on what their jobs are really. If Zokora is definately being told to just hold and bit a defensve midfielder, breaking up play etc then to be fair to him he is doing a good job. If Jenas is actually being told to attack, create etc then he's improving but still apart from his now brilliant set-piece deleviries he isn't that great an attacking or creative midfielder. If however they have to work together to do defensive and attacking roles, Jenas is kicking Zokora's ass. They have both improved, but Zokora is still a bit limited in passsing and he should at least occasionally create something, and Jenas still goes missing a bit to often and they both need to improve their finishing.

Still undecided but pretty much agree 1 must go if we are to step up a level. Would be sad to see either go but probably for the best.

We shouldn't be looking to flog one of our starters. We'll sign another central midfielder, for sure, but while that means one of these won't get as many games, we should flog someone who plays even less regularly, like say Boateng or Tainio. Seriously, we need to get rid of a lot of our the people who never play before selling off our semi-regulars

I think our midfield deserves or need more than what Jenas and Zokora delivers. I would still maintain both as squad players but not necesarily ist choicers. If it was a matter that one had to go I would reluctantly say Jenas for two reasons. 1) Zokora as limited as he is, is more versatile especially defensively. 2) Jenas more injury prone.

You crazy fool!! You just invalidated your poll by leaving off the "neither" option....

Like asking "Which tastes nicer...?
A)Shit
B)Piss
C)Undecided

We need more creativity to our midfield. And if we want to be competitive with the top teams in the Prem, I can't see either Zokora nor Jenas to be in our starting 11 next season. But if we are satisfied with being a mid-table team, then they are fine. I think there will be major changes in our midfield next summer. And wasn't there some rumours some time ago that Ramos didn't concider any of our current midfielders good enough to challenge the top 4 in the Prem? Perhaps these were just rumours...

At Sevilla he was quoted as saying that he warned his team about robbie keane and lennon being the main threats. So he at least used to rate lennon, but now he's seen him many times who knows.

we really don't know at the end of the day. There may be loads of changes in summer, however there may also be very few-who knows.

Neither of them... They both contain abundance of unfulfilled potential. Nonetheless, we still need an experienced CM (perhaps Maniche) to guide them (and Huddle! ...class act!).

The thing that fascinates me most about Zoks is the impressive number of positions he can play.

He has really impressed me when filling in the CB slot.

He also told the Sevilla players to keep an eye on Shimbomba, but that won't save him from being sold this summer.
