Ozil is also crap put wide, when the goners played him there he was getting stick.

It's since he's played centrally that he's found some form.

Lloris

Bellerin
Smalling
Koscielny
Rose (Shaw before his injury)

Kante
Dembele

Willian
De Bruyne
Sanchez

Kane

That would, in the whole, meet Poch's philosophy. I'd love a team like that.

So only three of our current squad would make Poch's 11 if he had the whole EPL to pick from in your opinion? Interesting. Goes to show then that we are doing quite well with the those he has at his disposal.

if it's Poch system:

De Gea
Coleman Alderweireld Vertonghen Davies
Dier - McCarthey
Lamela - Barkley - De Bruyne
Kane

but mine would be
( similar to Martin Jol's 4-4-2 with Malbranque on LM & Redknapp's 4-4-2 with Modric on LM during his first months )

De Gea
Coleman Alderweireld Vertonghen Davies
Sterling - Dier - McCarthey - Eriksen (or Hazard)
Lamela (SS) - Kane

If you are going for a Poch team:

An Attacking mid of:

Willian....Lamela....Sanchez

Would be insane in regards to buying into his philosophy, while also offering a variety of different qualities. The work rate and press would be incessant.

An absolute perfect blend of a really effective defensive high press and creativity, I agree those three would be perfect in a Poch team. (y)

McCarthy in for Dembele? You can pick from anyone in the league and you take out the best CM in the league atm and swap him for James McCarthy?

As much as i like Dembele, but just because he is in form doesn't mean he can be like that during full-season..

Under AVB-Tim, how many games we conceded goals just because he is lazy to defend in counter attacks, IMO he is more as AM, so i would pick him only there & there are a list of players who i trust more.

He's playing under a different manager now though ?

Most of His best displays this season when he played in the three positions behind strikers, so that's the reason behind prefering someone else in CM.

That's my arguement.
