Was thinking earlier about Lallana, obviously prompted by his performance tonight. Then I remembered his previous links to us. He is a tidy player and would have been an asset.

Personally I think he's a big fish in a small pond type player, like Dempsey in his Fulham days, and he carries that confidence through with him to national level. I like him though and hope he stays with Southampton, a move could ruin him.

I don't think he is. I think he's got something about him. If he continues like this, he will eventually move.

We could do worse. Lacks the finishing of a truly top draw player, but considering the amount of money we've spunked on pure shite over the years, I don't think he'de be a bad signing.

Class IMO. We're crying out for more intelligence, guile and creative types. Would imagine he'd link up very well with Eriksen and Soldado.

Soldado actually needs more of this type of player around him to thrive IMO.

Would super love it if we were interested but with things so up in the air, who knows and he'd cost a pretty penny now.

Lallana is obviously very creative...but what he has over someone like Holtby for example, IMO anyway, is great balance. You watch him, and in a split second he can change direction and lose his marker. He's very good at reading the play and he has the technique and skill to exploit it.

For me he has more than just an eye for an incisive pass, he offers real guile with his clever movement on and off the ball.

Good player, definitely. Wouldn't mind having a go at him at all.

But if we were to sign a creative dribbler, i think we should do what ever we can to get Mads Møller Dæhli from Cardiff, if they go down. That kid has got it all. Will become huge, and I doubt he will play at Cardiff in the Championship.
