I always felt that we would struggle in the first half of the season. It typically takes a half season to start seeing a new style of football come together. If we can keep within touching distance of the top four heading into the new year we could spring a surprise. We have a long way to go yet but football is largely about momentum and confidence. We've been short of both in recent weeks, a couple of wins could turn that around. Hopefully today will kick start that.

Indeed. You only need to look at Newcastle - incredible whats happened to them in the space of a month.

Agreed so lets get behind the team! At least we are away which is a good thing because our away support seems to be much better than our home support right now.

Our tactics, such as they are, also suit playing away. Big worry is we concede first though, especially early, because then they will park up and it's our inability to be clever around the box, pop in a long shot or score from a corner that will probably continue to hinder our ambitions under the present set up. Oh and having a caramel centre.

Well, we were awful up until that sending off and then all of a sudden we kicked into life. Bought Lennon on the right which opened up their defence which changed the game and Vlad even though defensively he was poor. He was good going forward and getting in behind the defence. Both Bobby and Kane missed some sitters though which is worrying!

evidence of how mediocre this league is.

Well, more so how bizarre of a season it's been, and also how inconsistent the top sides have been. Let no one suggest the Prem isn't still the most competitive top league in the world, as the fact Saints are 2nd with a game in hand frankly says it all.

Yeah, we're in touch with top 4, but considering how jizz we are I can't see that lasting for long. Regardless of the result today the squad needs a complete overhaul, starting in January.

We are tied points with Arsenal and only 2 points off 4th. COYS!

Time to keep the faith. Sorry if this seems like spam, but I just think it's not as bad as people think.
and Spurs did the business,.... not saying it was pretty, not saying they dominated Hull, but they got the 3 points - COYS!!!!!!!!

Bottom line is to 'win at all costs'.

Its why I think we are seeing the last days of quit a few player. But it will come down to price.

My list
Dembele
Soldado
Lamela*
Paulinho
Kaboul
Ade

*Lamela may get a stay due to his age and Poch may be able to turn him around. ATM he is a powder puff of a player.

I don't agree that we need a complete overhaul. We just need to play 2 strikers at home. It really is that simple. We have won 5 out of the last 7 games.
Yes, we have won 5 out of our last 7 games and the 2 we lost at home we started with 1 striker.
