i know who I want to go but who to bring in is more difficult. We could do with a very decent DM to compliment the forward runs of jenas and hudd. We could def do with a sturdy keeper and would be a good idea to get Cerny on board full time. Lastly we need to replace dawson with someone who has some experience, similar to woodgate and who can slot straight into a premiership team to play alongside woody...

Not getting on your back or anything but i cant understand why you, and others like you want to sell our young promising players. At least give them a few games, improve them as players and increase their stock so we get more money if we have to sell them.

Looking at the 3 you have listed:

Kaboul - didnt look great paired with Dawson at CB, but i mean we can hardly blame them for shipping so many goals. Completely new league to Kaboul, very inexperienced and hardly a 'rock solid 'midfield in front of him. We won't recoup the money we paid for him anyway. Personally, from what i 'saw/have seen' of Kaboul he looks very good on the ball and seems a skillful player. Big strong lad too, i would definately be keeping him, with Woodgate and King to learn off there is great potential there.

BAE - terrible luck with injuries, really hasnt been given a run in the team for this reason, but i would want to give him another season before we can properly judge him.

KPB - Ramos liked this guy when he was at Seville, by all accounts he was very promising in germany. Ok he hasnt cut the mustard at Spurs yet, but again give him more time. What is wrong with giving young players time to improve and adjust? Look at arsenal, they keep young players for a long time and bleed them in slowly. Why cant we do this with our players? Also KPB hasnt looked that bad when he has played for us, he seems commited and i would definately be wanting to see him next season, when Ramos and the rest of our coaches have had time to work with him.

Even though I would love a new CB, I think if we get a good keeper and a strong central pairing Woody and Dawson/Kaboul would be good enough to challenge the top four.

While we still need a LW, we can score without one and have Bale returning next year. And yes Chimbonda will probably be sold, but his staying or leaving isn't going to make the team better or worse.

not particularly exciting i know but realistic, and in the main an improvement (apart from berbs but i don't think if he goes we will be able to improve in that area). If I were Ramos I'd continue playing Zokora, Robinson and Dawson, because that's what he's been doing. Meanwhile I'd draw up a list of players I want and present it to Mr Comolli and Mr Levy and say, 'Go get 'em, boys, and look sharp about it!', but as I'm not Ramos I don't have the faintest idea who he really wants. And I'd say to Cerny, 'Adios, amigo.'
