Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Levy call Harry after the deadline and say "I got a start of season gift for you chum"?

Didn;t think Harry had anything to do with the VDV signing?

On Sky Rude Gullet was saying (i think i've got this right) "10 o'clock Jamie (Redknapp) called him (Rudd) to ask how much of a risk is signing Rafa (will he adapt to PL, what's he like around the team etc)? No risk (said Rudd) they Spurs) wanted to be 100 percent certain before they signed him as he wasn't a regular for Madrid or Holland" then he discussed the conundrum with Holland with fitting Rafa and Sniedjer in the same side compared it with Spurs fitting Luka and Rafa into the same side.

Rudey then started explaining about why Rafa has these little muscle problems, purely the pace of the PL compared to the other leagues he's played in and also lack of 90+ minute pitch time the last few years.

It was quite insightful actually.

Nice descriptive article . I'm glad he makes the point that the champagne is
pretty much confined to Spurs CL performances .

We should apply to join La Liga or somewhere because we're going to Bolton on Sat and champagne will be in short supply up there .

Inter came to play football . This is a rare thing in the Prem .In the Prem stopping skillful players has developed into an art involving studs ,shirtpulling
intimidation and checking how wise the ref is to this or that new bit of cheating etc etc .

There is mad Bale overkill atm on here Bolton will bring everybody back to reality .
