Er....Everton? Coleman broke his leg and Funes Mori was stretchered off in Argentina's match.
That's bad for us, as well. They could have done some damage to those around us - 'Pool, Utd, Chelsea & Arse. I was hoping they'd go on a real streak. Doesn't look so likely, now.

Dembele injured according to live commentary. Played 85 minutes.

The referee signals that it is time for a substitution and Thorgan Hazard (Belgium) is coming onto the pitch as Moussa Dembele cannot continue after picking up an injury.

When I refreshed the text it changed to the below so I'm not sure anymore.

Roberto Martinez has decided to make a change. Thorgan Hazard (Belgium) replaces Moussa Dembele.
martenez decided to make change....

FFS. Absolute joke our 3 Belgians are playing away in Russia while they rest courtois and hazard.

The club is way too nice and needs to start exerting pressure on the international sides.

To be fair Hazard missed Chelsea's last game because of an injury and Courtois also seems to have a slight injury. Unfortunately it looks like Costa's injury isn't as serious as first though.

Look how miserable he is! Case closed. He's clearly suffering from depression, has probably gone full Travis Bickle from Taxi Driver under his baseball cap and his body language suggests he's only a few days in to his anti-depressant script ;).

All we need now is Lemon to determine his mineral deficiencies and the state of his piss and we have all the information we need (y).

How the hell can it take the best part of 4 months for the club to decide surgery is required?!?!
Fuckwits...

Presumably they thought they had other options and this was a worst case scenario. I'm sure if they'd have known it would have been this drawn out in October they would have skipped straight to surgery. They didn't just spend 5 months analysing for the fun of it.

A lot of times re-hab is the preferred course of action - surgery is usually a last resort for player and club. So, before undergoing an invasive procedure it makes sense to try alternatives. It did not work in this case.

INJURY UPDATE: @ErikLamela is to undergo surgery on his hip on Saturday. This will result in Erik returning to action next season.
The @Argentina international has undergone a comprehensive rehabilitation process following the injury in November.
— Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) March 29, 2017

The player has achieved a good level of function, however he has been unable to reach the stage required to make a full return to training.
— Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) March 29, 2017

Therefore, following ongoing extensive consultation with specialists, surgery has been agreed by all as the best course of action.

Be interesting to see what happens with Eriks contract situation, been a long time since a well valued player of ours got into the last year of a contract.
