Exactly harry cant have any complaints as he signed the contract but imo he is right that it played a factor as to why he didnt become manager

Yep I imagine there's more to it than meets the eye, but I get the impression that Harry perhaps expected Levy to relax the terms of the contract in order to let him get the England job, and was probably annoyed when that didn't happen.

Why are you lot still arguing over the Harry for England tripe? This article is comedy gold though. Especially the final paragraph about him wanting to go abroad and retire (whilst managing a team - doesn't quite make sense does it Harry?).

He's a complete turd. Says something different every day, in accordance to what makes him look better. Remember his post match interviews. A win and we would get "Why can't we win the league?". A defeat and it was "Spurs we're crap for years since I came". He's a complete and utter moron. This is reflected in the amount of success he brought us (which was relatively high considering how poor we've been in the PL era) and yet he's disliked by the majority.

At least in AVB we have a manager committed to the cause and sees himself as an arm of the Club, as opposed to a captain waiting for a bigger cruise liner to jump ship.

Good old 'Arry forgetting to turn on his press filter (does he even have one?). I guess some things never change.

As i have said you believe what you want too, it was never going to happen.

That's a shocking statement to make parklane1. There is no way, literally, no way, in the world, that you would ever know that.

I have to admit your 'holier than thou' attitude is a bit tiresome, you get up on your high horse if anyone says anything bad about Defoe, about what he's done for the club etc. Yet last season we all had to put up with your slagging off of Redknapp on pretty much every thread, on pretty much every day.

If you are ok to do all that, then I'm going to call Defoe a ****. And you should probably just let it go. Ok? (y)

He's clearly not a moron, but frankly, let's not talk about him any more - not so much, anyway. I'm more interested in what you say about AVB. He certainly says the right things, but I feel it's still very important that we make him feel as one with the club. I always felt that way about Jol, and - for example - it's very much been the case with Wenger and Arsenal. I want AVB to identify himself with us, but that may still take a year or two of success.

Listen mate i am not going to get into a argument about what i do or do not know, as i said in my earlier post everyone can believe what they want too. As for you calling players names go ahead it shows what a top fan you are when you abuse your own players.

Funny really that you say " There is no way, literally, no way, in the world, that you would ever know that" and question what i have said but you are sure what you know

I wish he would shut up. He's not doing himself any favours with stuff like this.

This is the reason he didn't get the England post and then got replaced at Spurs (thank christ). He does not know when to shut up.

Without getting into an argument with me can you actually tell me where I said that? I didn't say I know anything...I just said there was no way you could know, you know?

And believe me I stood in front of a **** at Swansea who was racially abusing Adebayor without knocking him out. That's how much of a fan I am.

What sort of a fan did it make you when you abused the manager all of last year? The same sort of fan as me?

You make sweeping statements and then just hide your head in the sand without even answering them when people question you, cant be much fun.

Hodgeson has enormous stock in European and world football, he has served on all kinds uefa & possibly fifa committees dealing with coaching and the development of the game and following the complete and utter fucking shambles of the world cup vote the FA decided it needed to start mending fences and building allies again.
Harry was not the man for that job.

Because unless you are Harry Redknapp, or a member of the FA, how could you?

Listen this is going around in circles, you know nothing and according to you i do not either so lets leave it there and you can go back to being abusive to our players.

Your probably right but as said in another post, Harry would be foolish to think that when you consider that he watched him negotiate with teams when he has something they want

Harry Redknapp said:
I wouldn’t take it (the England job) now, no, not now, not in the future

I'm not a rocket surgeon but I don't think he'd get the chance to take the job

No, it's not going round in circles, you're doing what you do everytime somebody calls you out.

I have no idea about the Redknapp situation (never claimed I did), you claimed you did, but you don't, you cant, can you?

You remind me of a poster called The Original Yiddster, he was never wrong either.

When are you going to start abusing this manager?

Really? he maybe held in high regard by the bureaucrats of football but the general reaction was "who?", A lot people were shocked it wasnt harry. Who was cited by people the manager of Tottenham, the team that played the amazing football in the champions league last year.
