I guess Harry turned out to be a bit like Marmite. For me, I appreciated what he did and where he left us and enjoyed his cockney charm n bullshite....Maybe now's the time to move on as the club certainly has.

Lets get behind the team, some great games coming up. AVB's blue n white army!!:)

I disagree, the baggage had been cleared, Im not a big harry fan and wanted him to be sacked last season, as I thought we could do better but at the time he was the only decent english manager and still is.

When Roy gets sacked Harry will be the only candidate if they want to go the english route

eh?

Harry is a massive twat at the end of the day, when he was at Spurs he did a good job and was OUR massive twat, but he does talk some awful bollocks that he frankly has no place disclosing.

Any manager worth their salt must have a release clause in their contract like this, no top team would be willing to lose their manager, possibly to a rival, without some compensation.

At least in AVB we have a manager committed to the cause and sees himself as an arm of the Club, as opposed to a captain waiting for a bigger cruise liner to jump ship.

I don't think anyone knows that, in fact the evidence would probably suggest the opposite. He jumped from Academica to Porto the first chance he got and then again was gone the first time someone stumped up his release clause at Porto.

Maybe the Chelsea experience humbled him a bit and he has changed, but if a 'bigger' club came knocking then I wouldn't be surprised if he went, based on his previous.

I just think judging by the way roy has been managing we may struggle to qualify for the WC, if we dont then he will have to get sacked imo as we didnt have the hardest group by a long way tbh and then if this English only policy is continued, there isnt many candidates. Harry, Pardew(oh god no), Big Sam and Adkins are the only top flight english managers, then you always get the Alan shearer rumours:rolleyes:.

Indeed next season will be his first time he has been at a club for 2 season, which is amazing since he has managed 4 clubs in total. Also a year ago his career was considered over by some people where he struggled to get the job at several clubs before us.

Shearer, Sherwood, Southgate, a n other figurehead etc... I just believe that no matter what, HR will never manage England, and that until there is a top level shake up England football will continue to suffer

One worrying thing is that Roy lost control of the Inter dressing room and this England dressing room has been known to give Capello problems and he is the master of controlling players

Capello brought a lot of those problems on himself, they were mainly communication issues that annoyed certain players. Eg. he got his assistant to drop players from squads, or the case of him announcing he wasn't picking Beckham anymore to the media when he hadn't even spoken to the player.

His choice of base at World Cup 2010 was the other main issue. It was some complex in the absolute middle of nowhere with nothing to do and the players were bored shitless. I saw it dubbed a 'prison camp' from leaks to the media. That was soon learnt from for Euro 2012.

People will always deny that is the reason, the FA couldn’t say that and I won’t say, but it didn’t help me.

“I had such a badly loaded contract it was crazy, in Tottenham’s favour. That’s what you get for not reading your contract properly.
“It was a massive amount that someone would have had to pay to get me out of it. If they sacked me it wasn’t so massive and that was a bolt out of the blue, a shock, I genuinely never saw it coming.

Love this bit, so typical of the man...says I won't say, then in the same breath does say. What a tool.
