What's to stop getting around FFP by them seriously over paying for Luka. ie 80m euros.

This on top of a lump sum for 'sponsorship', would give us some serious financial clout as long as this year we qualify for the CL

Because they would have just spent 80M from one of the clubs they own. They would be no better off. (PSG would fail FFP)

Because it would make their sponsorship/investment far too public.

If they made a £100million bid for Modric or whatever, it would create a media storm, and we would be tagged as the new club funded by dirty arab money... Which I really don't want, let's keep it in private!
