Tore my ACL, MCL and half a knee cartilage playing football at uni. Played on for a while but then it gave way again, two months post op now. Let's hope Jan hasn't done anything like that, wouldn't wish it on anyone... Except wilshere, the dick

I have started a crowd funded trip to dignitas for you, YOU'RE WELCOME.

Best case scenario is probably strained ligaments which would be a couple of months. Anything more than a strain and it'll be the season.

I've said many times on forums that I don't understand why clubs don't instruct kit suppliers to come up with shirts that tear quite easily. That way all this shirt tugging that the refs miss wouldn't matter. It would also lead to more goals.

There could be a stack of replacement shirts for each player in the dugout..

Any entrepreneurs out there? Could make yourself a huge amount of cash. I want a lot for using my idea though:LOL:

Until the FA decide it's against the rules as they're not getting any money from it.

Just use body paint (waterproof). Might make ladies soccer more interesting and all.

Soon as you do that there'll be players tearing their own shirts.

So sad about this. Exactly the kind of thing that can derail us. We aren't well stocked for cover at all at centre back.

More interested to know why the FA haven't said they're looking in to the elbow.

Why out of interest? I know we all hope he gets punished, but Verts situation could have a massive impact on our results.

Well, ok. Not "more interested" but would like to know. He's a scumbag who needs to be punished.

So you want clubs to get the manufacturers of the kit to make them rip easily, meaning the club's have to order a he'll of a lot more shirts during the season. Can't see levy spening extra doing that ;)

the Kappa Body Combat shirts were designed with this in mind. The idea was if your shirt was tugged it would restrict your movement a lot less than a conventional shirt.
