This comes via FTL as I have no access to COYS...

Me neither, they're a touchy lot over there and took offence at my Pinocchio smiley when replying to Dragon1s post regarding Levy having an open door of respect towards Morinio and him joining Tottenham as manager

I think Zokora could work very well in that formation, just sitting deep, breaking up attacks, so maybe just him and Gattusso? All they need to do is pass it to Modric to set the move going!

I had originally placed Berbatov slightly behind Villa and Eto'o as well, which could work!

GK

Hutton Woodgate King/CB Bale
Zokora Gattusso
Modric
Berbatov
Villa Eto'o

Obviously this completely relies on Bale and Hutton for the width, but you could have Lennon and a left winger on the bench, and change it pretty easily.

Just done my research fellas:

Torres is indeed nicknamed 'el nino' - 'the child' in Spanish

Villa is nicknamed 'el Guaje' - 'the child' in his native Asturian language

Clemente is the middle name of Luis Clemente Fabiano

Yeah, cheers for that miles_64, I probably should have included the reasoning, but we have it here now

Yeh but Zokora can't tackle, and he is too expansive for that role. Also Gattuso would be breaking up the play we need someone in there who is comfortable on the ball and can dictate the tempo, especially when we are leading a game (massive problem this season). Difficult to have Zokora and comfortable on the ball in the same sentence without the word 'isn't' being included.

Oh and Villa and Berba would provide some width either side. Berba and Keano are constantly drifting into wide positions anyway.

Too true. I've been banned for life 3 times now for the mildest of scepticism or criticism of their revered ITKs. Am back in my 4th guise, though, just to keep tabs on the :evil:s

Im suprised we haven't been linked with Jo,I figured for the entire transfer window us MAn City and Newcastle will all be linked to the same players time and again

we would always have an advantage over Newcastle. and i think pleyers would be more interested in coming to WHL than Newcastle. then we have an advantage over City with a more attractive side and being in London (same as over Newcastle with better location)
