The Defoe/SWP rumour is TRUE..........

An official approach was made earlier in the week by Chavs........ we put a price on Defoe, they then offered a straight swap, rejected by Spurs as they want cash as well as SWP.........

That is as far as we have got (this info is from the Chavs end of things).....

As has been discussed already Malouda and Cole can play wide if needed.

Pizarro is really a squad player....... Shevchenko is out of favour at the moment and remember that Drogba will bugger off to the ANC in January for potentially 7 weeks....... they would prefer an out-and-out goalscorer like Defoe to SWP........

Right, my uncles good friend owns a box at tottenham and owns something like 0.7% of the club, and has many connections with the board.
He told my uncle, who then told me, that we are desperately trying to sign Pedersen before the transfer window closes.

Apparently we went all out for Nani, yet he chose United, then we switched our targets to Babel, yet he chose Liverpool, then finally we went for Petrov, but he chose city. Now, we are apparently going to go all out for Pedersen before the weekend.

Thats what I heard, if its not true, dont blame me

Interesting info from the top table of another premiership club ........they convinced Ramos not join Spurs hinting it would do him no harm to wait a year on the basis that if they had a vacancy it was his.Wonder if they were woried about us joining the top four .This is the most plausible of all explanations as to his about face .Have a 100 % faith in the source .

ok obviously i cant post everything i know right now, as things are quite delicate all i will confirm right now is that ramos is 100% up for the job,he is not on good money at seville plus they are a selling club so he is happy to come,my understanding is ramos can wait a a few weeks to come it does not have to be done before la liga starts but that is not to say that the change may not happen this week cos it might but do not read to much into that as i have not had it confirmed yet (ie that mj is going before man u)

one thing i was holding back until after jol went has now been posted next door by ben so im now happy to confirm it that jol did speak to newcastle behind there backs and we found out and were extremely f55ked off with mj this was a year 18 months back during the souness/ roeder regimes at newcastle

i aint taking sides on this but as i said loyalty is a two way street and neither mj or our board are angels so it works both ways

Going for my hat-trick of ITK here. May not be a big suprise but it's the news we've largely been expecting:

Jol is going, and soon! My source had dinner with a couple of senior board members after the game on Sat. Bottom line is, Jol's public image is very different from his private image. It largely comes down to his tactics, which we all know have been questionable. But recently he's completely lost the dressing room, Hughton organises and runs training, and the board don't see Jol as the long term answer.

They like Ramos, but have a list of managers that they want to talk to. Essentially, once they have their man, Jol will be out - could even be by the end of the month, but almost certainly by Xmas.

Speaking to my source close to routledge again today and apparently Reading are very interested at £2m, Villa are also interested but martin o'neil doesn't want to deal with the players agent.
The agent is only contracted to represent the player until the end of august, so if villa are to do business then it will have to be in january, unless o'neil caves in of course.

before i start just want to say ive never claimed to be ITK, i know its a bit of an old cliche, but the only other bit of info i ever gave some of you may remember was the bale info - back in march or thereabouts, i knew someone within his family - and they told me he was signed up long before it was announced

this comes from the same source - now before you think bale just gossips with family about all the people coming in and out of spurs - its not how it is - but bale recently did have a chat with my mate - told him a few things. A lot, in credit to the ITKs, was what they were saying weeks ago - petrov, kaboul signed ect - so well done to them for clearly spot on info

anyway ** here it is **

basically said that lot of the guys are getting excited at training (this was before SA) said some of the lads were saying dyer was on his way - jenas defoe etc were particulary happy apparently. said it wasnt done but dyer was texting them saying it was a very good possibility. anyway this was last week, yesterday i text me mate again to find out any more info about this and he text me back tonight saying : last i herd from him he said it was very close to being complete - also commented on how the media have only just picked up on it

so anyway there it is guys

i for one would be happy with dyer, always impresses me on england games so suppose it wouldnt be a bad signing. and if it keeps the likes of jenas defoe etc happy then suppose its not a bad signing.

Well, tonight I was out in company with my Chelsea contact and he tells me (from Paul Terry) that SWP is as yet untroubled by any transfer talk. He's in no rush to go anywhere, and considers himself as much part of CFC's plans as any other player.

i have asked whether there is any legs in the, torres rumour and been told that last summer when quized whether the torres and berbs could play together dc did not think they would be a great partnership, both great strikers in their own right but too similar thus we had to make a decision as to which one we wanted and we chose berbs and its unlikely dc opinion would have changed since then and although we need squad and rotation its unlikely we would spend £20 million on torres to keep the bench warm

Thought I'd pass on a couple of titbits I have heard.

There's a plot of land (Well over 50 acres) that a certain club may be buying, depending on whether regeneration funds will be granted, the land is owned by the local council (Not Haringey!)

A mate of mine met PK recently and quizzed him about our summer targets and his rumoured take-over.

Apparently, we are after an italian striker (Fabio Quagliarella) to replace Defoe who is definitly off (Villa being the one in the driving seat). The guy is from sampdoria - i've not heard of him before though - anyone know this guy?

Sneider is our main midfield target. It is expected that he is our replacement for routledge and upgarde on Malbs - their not confident Lennon will be the star he think he is next year and want a proven talent - Lennon does have a price apparently.

Said Kaboul was done last weekend as we know from others on here, and that we are definately interested in Pedersen still, but that Gamst is holding out for a top 4 club because he and his advisors believe they will still get an offer. So I was out last night and went to a new club on Kensington High Street called Amika. Was in the back bar drinking with a few mates when one of them says "hey, isn't that Ledley King?"... It certainly was, sitting at the table next to us. Obviously I had to go and have a chat - i couldn't miss out on a chance to speak to the captain of my beloved Spurs - so i walked over and said hi and he was one of the nicest footballers I've ever met.

He was with a couple of mates, neither of whom I recognised, definitely not footballers (one was a bit on the podgy side). Ledders was actually a little bit drunk, he had champagne and vodka in the ice buckets on his table and was clearly enjoying his night off. Somewhat refreshing though was the lack of blonde moneygrabbing models, the kind that plagued other tables, leeching off the Russian/Greek businessmen. Ledley was on a lads night and there wasn't even one girl at his table.

Anyway, to cut to the chase, I spent my five minutes with him giving him a little bit of an interrogation. And here is what he said:

- He loved playing for England again on Friday night, said he felt he was good enough to cement a place in the England defence but the fact that he normally plays on the left of a central pairing meant it was hard to push Ferdinand out of his place on the right next to Terry. Said John Terry is one of the best CBs he's ever played with, "hard as nails".

- Also said he felt really good fitness wise. Said this year had been a bit of nightmare, but that his foot was now feeling great. I asked about Kaboul and he said as far as he knew it would go through in the next few days. Said it was important to bring in another CB because if the club was to compete on four fronts (PL, FA, League Cup, UEFA), King and Dawson couldn't play every single game. Also said competition was always a good thing, which surprised me because while that's always a soundbite used in public, I never thought he'd say the same to me in a nightclub.

- Asked about Bale, King said he'd only met him once but he seemed a "good kid", lots of potential, said Spurs were "delighted" to have got him ahead of Man Utd and said we should expect to see a lot of him next year. I asked whether that would at LW and King said "doubt it", so maybe Bale will end up first choice LB by end of next season?

- Berbatov: definitely not leaving, not a chance. King said Berba loved Spurs, got on really well with all the lads and that Jol has made it clear he won't allow Berba to be sold for any amount of money, no matter how big. I asked whether Bent was coming and he said it was up in the air. Said Bent will probably stay down south but that the deal definitely wasn't done yet and that he'd "probably cost a load".

- CL next season is the aim according to Ledders. Said that the club feel Arsenal are within reach. Said Jol felt with a few more players we could compete consistently over the season and take 4th. Also said that defensively the season had been "shit", but that now he's fit, "things should get better".

- LW: King said we'd definitely get someone, he didn't know much about the Petrov situation but he did say Berba always bigged up Petrov when the players talked about options and the club was "interested" in him but also in lots of others. Said Commoli was one of the most knowledgable people in football, "like a fvcking elephant". Said that, to be honest, the players don't always know much about transfers, just got wind of them towards the end, which makes me think that Kaboul is nailed on but Bent/Petrov aren't yet.

- Finally asked him if he was going to play against Estonia... he said he hoped so but he knew McLaren might want a more attacking RB so might play Phil Neville which meant Carragher could start instead of King.

Generally a great night, only talked for 5-10 mins but he was a really decent bloke, louder than I expected, and very willing to have a chat. I'm proud to have this legend as captain of our club, especially when I compare him to Anton Ferdinand who I saw in Movida last summer acting like a complete wanker, downing champagne out of the bottle with a girl on each knee, twat.

I was talking to my mate in the UK today, who's 16 year old plays for the Spurs Youth team (surname is Elvin, if you want to research it). They were in Holland for some youth tourne last weekend where my mate said that he actually met his agent at the event (not knowing who he was at first), apparently he was there with 2 Bulgarian lads who were on trial at Spurs through him.

To cut a long story short; once my mate discovered who the fella was he asked him straight out if Berbs was staying. The fella said "probably not, Utd offered Saha, Brown + cash a week before the end of the season, it's still under discussion and Jol is on board with the deal if it happens". He said that Wes Brown was the key factor that swayed Jol, and he's always been a fan of Saha.

Now I'm not one to beleive this shite usually, but the fact that he is the only person I've ever known who has a direct connection to the club - it sort of bothered me a little.

We have definately enquired about Smith as reported in the sun.

He is as a back up if the Bent deal doesnt happen as Charlton would rather sell him to West Ham as they have offered 3m more.

ManU obviously would want Berby but have also enquired about Defoe- we said no to both but countered by asking about Heinze!

Shoot me down all you want but my mate has some spurs ties in the boardroom...he rarely talks about spurs as he doesnt like to leak info...which i respect no matter how frustrating at time...

But anyhow he came out to NYC today and is slaughtered and probabaly excited to be here on his hols....but he needed a favor so i turned the screw! haha

He said that Darrent Bent is more or less ours unless Spurs have a change of heart. He has verbally agreed a deal subject to a medical and transfer fee. We are about 3 mil away from what charlton want. He is not interested in WHAM but curbs is trying to sign him and have more or less agreed to the fee charlton want for him... Bent is on his hols and we will have a better look at him due to a injury he has picked up on his return.

Jermain Defoe wants to stay with us and is NOT looking for a move....Chelsea were sniffing around for Chimbo indeed....but quickly turned their attention to Defoe ... Jol wants to work out a deal with Robben in a swap...

Mido has lost his respect at the club and they are negotiating with several teams involving swap deals including intesrest from a promoted club, Blackburn, and a few other teams abroad mainly in france... Mark Hughs is not convinced at Midos fitness but has not closed the door just yet on it... But respect to Mido he has been working on his fitness...

MGP has been initially blocked but we will test them with a higher bid...Jol looking to bring him in regardless if we buy a LW....so im assuming a few formations next year

Petrov is wanted by Jol... and comolli has been in contact with him...my friend seems to think we have a really good chance of signing him. Petrov was wanted last season as well but didnt materialize. Petrov is believed to have joked behind closed doors that him and berbs could crack the top four by themselves! But Robben is still the one that Jol is dreaming about!

We have been asked to keep informed about Nugent but again it depends on Everton as he is a massive fan of theirs....

I asked him about Bale and he said that we had him wrapped (as far as transfer fee and agreement with the club) up in January but couldnt announce it with only a bunch of "reliable" people knowing due to Saints push for the prem. Burley didnt want to rock team morale or distract the youngster. He is very very excited to play for spurs and has been watching spurs vids and reading about our history...Said Bale was a kid in a sweetshop when he arrived at spurs.

Villa/Sunderland have asked about Tainio...Jol is keen to keep him.

Jol is NOT after NRC!!!! Bartons name was been thrown around but some of the top top boys dont want him anywhere near our team. As for Parker...we DID show some interest but went cold due to his refusal at lowering his wages but what made me laugh was... Parker wanted a guarentee of first team footie!

There is a french striker being discussed at the moment as one of the options....supposed to Henry Mk2...although Arsenal/pompey/boro looking at him also

Last but not least....Jol couldnt be happier....said his dreams have come true and wants the job for life! Keep this a secret haha but Jol loves the banter with the spurs faithful. Even called us prickshh on one occasion for making fun of his in his own words "Hair shtyle"...

Berbs is somewhat of an enigma around the club....some of the spurs staff still cant make eye contact with him apparently hahahah women!

Last but not least...Nani was a serious serious prospect and we definately tried to sneak in under the rader...but Nanis agent alerted Utd that we were close in getting our man....Only for Man U sending a squad of people to ensure we dont get our man. Nani was about 10 hours from signing for us.

Sounds quite like the plan I've heard [HoofHarted's info]. I expect a mido 9(bent replacing defoe)replacement as well....someone youngish who will be different in style and offer a different option from the other 3 and content to play less. Possibly zicic at the right price.

Also I think you will see at least 3 maybe more of our 'squad' midfielders sold/loaned (ziegler, yeates, murphy, gahly, routlgdge) and a european(or non- african nations) top central midfielder brought in...the likes of fernandez, Sneider, parker....

Not to mention another spattering of prospects in the 15-18 category. This info isn't super current so I cannot comment about how likely nani is. Also the problem with bent was never him, but rather agreeing a sensible fee with charlton who quoted £15mil and wanted to play chicken....hopefully we can agree around the £12mil mark...

Man Utd haven't given up on Berbatov. They are trying a different player plus cash scenario.
All this info is eminating from Old Trafford.

Now this doesn't mean Spurs are going to say yes. But while he has still to sign a new deal, Alex Ferguson will battle on for his man.

I don't know what Berbs thoughts are. and no reason to doubt he will sign a new contract with us.

But I do know for definite that Man Utd believe they can get him with enough work.

I can't tell you which player is being offered. Not worth the hassle. I could get in to trouble.

We are only after four new players! And they are:

1. Darren Bent, he has agreed to join Spurs, DC and DL flying to USA to complete the deal, prob done by beginning of next week.

2. Gareth Bale, done.

3. Younis Kaboul, almost done.

4. Nani, DC is confident he is on his way, we will within reason match any offer by Yanited.
