from DJ Zac who went on a staduium tour today

Posted May 1 2008:

My wife bought us a tour around the mighty white hart lane ages ago as a present and its this sat were going.... anyway i rang up to confirm it was still on etc and the lady said "yes this is the last one as the building work starts soon after and that no others tours are happening until its finished"

Did i miss something? Have we publicly confirmed any building work?

Interesting part:

Today:

Guys i can only be quick as im away at the moment and in an internet cafe.... i went on the tour it was brilliant and when im back ill upload the pics.
a few things to tell you, the lady taking our tour confirmed etoo was a white hart lane last week and also said she felt there will be a lot of ins and outs. Also amazingly just as the tour finished we came outside of reception and who was standing there, BERBA!
i had my photo taken with him and i then asked him if he was staying, he just smiled and didnt say a word. Others also asked after i did and still he didnt say anything..... he also didnt look injured. I really believe he will be going.....the lady taking our tour said to me that a lot at spurs dont like berba's agent at all. Ill update this thread with the pics when im back on tuesday.....

You don't notice a groin injury unless the guy tries toturn while running.

Hmmm the building works could be anything, but it is beginning to sound like we're close to annoucing a new Stad.

As for Berbs... of course he is off.

As for Eto - it would be amazing but surely a lot of other clubs would be ahead in the que.

So the tea/hospitality lady knows our most intimate transfer dealings and you should be able to see a thigh/hamstring tweak through trousers? Got it.

The lady might have served Eto'o some snacks and drinks you know

But yes, a bit of doom-mongering re: Berba 'faking injury' there.

And how/why would Berba be at WHL today when we were playing at Reading? You don't exactly need to pop in to pick up your kit on the way to away games!

Sorry, this is blatantly made up.

Sorry, I know this is mean but there's another major flaw with this post.

We never conduct any transfer negotitions or anything at WHL or such public places. They always happen in hotels near Heathrow, usually The Runnymede. We'd've also sent a delegation to Spain for such business, not the other way around.

I know it's boring and doesn't sell papers but 90% Berbatov will be here next season and 98% Eto'o wont be here.

I imagine a player who was seriously considering joining a club might be interested in seeing the ground.

Erm, I have been on the "stadium tour" and a couple of things occur to me:

1) I thought it was only on when we are playing at home (since there really isn't much to see)

2) There is nobody to ask loads of questions to. They just announce that the tour is starting and take you down to the dressing room. They then play a video while you are down there, you look at the kit all laid out and go outside to the west stand. There is just some PR bloke there.

I feel like I missed out by not making up a load of BS.

(Oh by the way, when I went on the tour I had a chat with Elvis, Jesus and Lady Di. Apparently the will all be playing for Spurs next year)

Let us give DJ Zac the benefit of the doubt. He has posted many times before and his information has always been absolutely spot-on. Fair play, say I!
