If we signed him, I wonder where he would play.
Kameni

Hutton Woodgate King Bale

Lennon Jenas Diarra Ronaldinho

Berbatov Keane

Hi djs :) good looking team, but unfotunately King and Bale aren't fit, and there's no guarantee they'll be ready and in form next season

it's a reminder I'll be adding quite often over the summer, just as I kept reminding people last summer King wasn't fit, yet 'team' after 'team' had him in -

I'd think if we are interested in him it would be as a replacement for Berbatov to appease the fans. Much as i'd love to see both play in the same Spurs team!.

Secondly he is not as valuable to us as he would be to another team such as Man City - They need a big name to try & fill their ground - We don't!. Therefore they could pay his desired wages as they would gain the extra in gate receipts - we can't as our ground is always full anyway!

I'm just finding it hard to imagine this, seriously Ronaldinho at the Lane, would probably keep Berby at the lane aswell, add a Fabiano to the list aswell and we have a very exciting attack.

If berb found out ron was coming to Spurs he'd stay. 100% believe that but I think this story is nothing more than made up but its a good read

Hey DC :hello:, hmmm ok I'll go for an alternate one...

Kameni (or Gomes)

Hutton Woodgate Ben Haim Shorey

Lennon Jenas / Poulsen Diarra Ronaldinho (Capel! :hump:)

Berbatov Keane

Cheers for posting. I rate this ITK. I'm not saying it's going to happen but for once the way it's being looked at feels like it could be real.

Reason I buy it is that it's not the usual guff on wages that the idiots in the tabloids go on about but this refers to annual bonuses to make up the total comp. Makes sense to maintain the wage structure and build up his total demanded comp with this kind of payments (you could argue they're marketing budget anyway with Ronnie!)

P.S. Would LOVE it to happen!

Maybe we're using this as a smokescreen to cover purchasing our real target, Diego Capel!

Have heard that he would rather come to the Premiership then Serie A but would be surprised if a) he would want to come to Spurs and b) we could afford him.

Imagine a team with Ronaldinho and Berbatov though...

i think there is a good just they will be playing in the same team next year. in milan sadly.

I can see this ITK being true. However it sounds like we are still a long way from seeing him holding the shirt. Other clubs will come in for him, and some will be able to offer more attractive packages than we can.

I look forward to seeing how this one pans out but I think we are some distance before getting Ronaldinho on our shirts.

:) DJS - yep good idea to have alternatives - lessens the disappointments if the worst happens

like the idea of Ben Haim - will CFC sell to us tho?

doubt its true, would be nice but even if we went to 70k he'd not accept that, we'd have to offer at least 100k IMO and we wont so may aswell forget it.

Well... its very unlikely but not completely outside the realms of possibility...

I guess it's one of those cross fingers and toes times... it will come down to money at the end of the day and Spurs run a very tight ship financially... but who knows...

if anyone is ever going to break a wage structure surely he'd be the one to do it.

I might as well order the RONALDINHO print for the back of my shirt for next season now.

I can understand why we should all be excited by the prospect of Ronaldinho but personally I'd much rather have Modric. I don't think the premiership is tailormade for Ronaldinho, who lets face it, is phenominally talented but isn't going fancy getting kicked to fuck by Blackburn, Bolton etc on a cold December night. Having a 140k a week show pony is also going to get right up the nose of evryone else in the dressing room.

Modric please.

Well said BC, as fantastic a player as ronnie is, he's not the next piece of the jigsaw we need. In some ways it would be very us to get a "star" like him, all the supporters start cumming in their pants, but we forget to build a team and stay in mid table.
