total shite

I couldn't find a stream so thought I'd watch highlights but it was a big error. The program was boring, the first match on the program was a highlights of the main match they'd shown only hours earlier that surely many viewers had already watched (illogical), the analysis was poor, pretty much the whole thing was shit.
(Although Matt Smith isn't a bad presenter).

Not only that but the comentator even said the 1-1 result was the closest to a shock so far..... giving away the fact there was no upsets.
So anyone avoiding scores from earlier knew who would win each game!

I was waiting and waiting for the game to come on last night. After the dross of Man city boro game and the equally as boring Liverpool vs reading which they had already shown in its entirety live. I started to flick as Anchorman was on (one of my favourite films) I was sure they would give Spurs some air time. I missed it as they only showed the goals!

ARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH. Twats. ITV are rubbish!

I agree with this thread, I stayed up to watch this and I had to get up at 5 for work :( Was at the Lane and was a great game, fans got behind Keane and we played some brilliant football, but I missed one of the chances that hit the bar as someone in front of me stood up. Would love to have seen the Keane disallowed goal and the penalty claim by Peterborough too. ITV coverage has always been shocking, their commentary is poor, analysis is worse, last night was a joke. Spurs, fourth in the Premiership and we're on after fucking Wigan who had 5000 people at their stadium. Our game was a goal fest / many chances. Robbie Earle and Townsend got nothing on Lawro and Hanny

Considering we had 35,000+ at the ground and played a full strength team it was an insult we got around 40 seconds of coverage. I downloaded a 800mb of FA cup highlights expecting at least 5 minutes Spurs coverage

ITV have always been shite

I thought the picture quality was really shit too. Looked like they got the images from the lanes cctv cameras.

Just watched the ITV lowlights show. What a pile of steaming, pungent, squishy shite it was. They picked Niko's first goal as the goal of the weekend, but didn't show any of the build up before he started his run. It appears that the executives at ITV don't understand that anticipation makes for excitement, not showing a 7 second sequence that has barely time to register before it's over.

From what I gathered from the radio commentary, Joe Lewis played an absolute blinder against us, and that the four we put past him didn't detract from what was a sterling performance. ITV have shown the paucity of their coverage by not even mentioning his heroics against a team lying 40 places above his. That's shameful.

I cannot believe that Man City's borefest against Boro was a featured game.

Additionally, in many cases, the commentary was giving results away before the goals were shown, denying fans the excitement of anticipation. Again.

Pure unadulterated dross. I was wondering if anyone knows when the rights for the F.A. Cup come up for bidding again, because the sooner ITV lose them, the better.

Mind you they do that on the Football league show on BBC after MOTD too, really annoying.

the coverage was shocking... took me back to the days when they did motd. They showed it at half 7, gave 30 minutes to Man Utd and 1 minute to everyone else.

It was bad enough that they only gave 30 seconds to Spurs but to have such cheap shoddy camera work in 2010 for a major television company simply amazed me.

The only solution to this is to boycott their football programs so they get crap ratings. But how do you organise that and who can be bothered? We just want to watch football not Andy Townsend talking jibberish.

I agree with everyone else it was awful. At least that could have shown extended highlights on their website but that couldn't even do that!

glad to see it wasn't just me being oversensitive then!
even worse for Posh fans. penalty claim ignored, shot on target ignored, Lewis' saves ignored.
straight after showing our game and villa's they managed to discuss villa taking the cup seriously despite being in the hunt for CL place, without reference to us. chumps.

ITV is made for the half witted under class that get off n Jeremy Kyle and The X Factor. They cannot produce sport or anything that does not have a phone in for the sofa slobs to vote for their favourite fart.
