We shouldn't let him get anywhere near our squad, he just comes across as toxic and divisive. It's a NO from me!

I am in the no camp also, great talent but he seems to have a chip on his shoulder and doesn't seem like he takes any responsibility. Doesn't seem to fit the team vibe that is currently building at spurs. We need selfless workhorses for Ange not individuals

I think we will go with Richarlison starting and then move for him in January if it’s not working out.

After everything we’ve witnessed him do and say recently you’d still want him?

I’d be horrified if we signed him.

Can’t imagine Ange would be at all interested.
Given his character and his actions I really don't want him.

That being said, there's always the sports thing of him being talented. As purely a football player, he'd fit in well in how the team plays and I think would score more for us than Richi would.

I think he'd cause more problems but I can see us holding at least some interest .

Report in The Times that Brentford have put £80 million asking price on Toney or should that be Barnett has put on the £80 mill, what percentage do agents get ?

Even without taking into account the attitude problems £80m is too expensive. We might as well wait until next summer when there would be a 30-40% discount on that. I get why Brentford would ask for that but we're not desperate enough to spend 80m on what would effectively be a 28 year old who's got 18 months left and won't be match sharp in January. I can't see any club biting at that price, not even United.

I’d be interested to hear what his team mates genuinely think about him. It might be that he comes across as a wankpuffin but actually he’s a good egg in the camp. Maybe.

I was always around 75% in favour of signing him, then it went down to 25% after that interview. Then I watched some porn and it went back up to 69% but now I’m cumsober I’m back down to around 10%.

Honestly, the interview Toney did recently with Steve Bartlett just really turned me off him. He comes off as massively arrogant and just generally not very likable at all. I don't think he's the kind of character that we need to be bringing into the club.

He didnt say he wanted him, he said he thought we might move for him.

Toney does seem a bit of a bellend, but I suspect a lot footballers are away from the cameras and the good eggs are few and far between. It is why it is so hard to build a decent squad nowadays. We know that as well as anyone.

A couple thoughts amidst the moral grandstanding:

His arrogance doesn't bother me in the slightest. If the manager wants him and he can respect the badge, be a decent teammate and score goals than we should bring him in. Simple as that.
