That was back when they were still trying to convince him to stay. He has made it clear he wants to be in London near his family at a top club with first team avenues. Limits the options and while city are bathing in money they're not run quote so sadistically, at least from my perspective, as some other top clubs and may send a bad signal to other youths wanting to join them if they refuse to sell and let him rot.

I think that was the tribunal fee City had to pay for him when they took him on.

This kid must be the new Ronaldo the way some are going on.
We already have the new Messi though in Edwards so I suppose it will be good to have the pair

In all seriousness we need to remember that many a talented kid has gone by the wayside. There is a lot more than goes into making a successful footballer than step overs, rabonas and other such skills.
It would be nice to nab him from City, but he is not the answer now to our lack of attacking depth.

Just to clarify, Jadon is not on a pro contract. We offered to buy him as part of the walker deal, which was apparently rejected. The advantage of buying and agreeing a fee is that the cost is set and known. As we didn't agree a fee it will go to tribunal, which is famously inconsistent in setting prices, but Nan City have no say in this process as he's not under contract.
